INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN

Kompetensi Dasar:
3.2. Menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi interpersonal
lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberikan ucapan selamat bersayap (extended),
dan responnya, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
4.2. Menyusun teks interaksi interpersonal lisan dan tulis sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan
memberikan ucapan selamat bersayap (extended), dan responnya dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks.

5 soal pilihan ganda dan 5 soal essay. Bobot soal pilihan ganda 1, sedangkan bobot
soal essay 2.

Congratulation and Compliment

Tujuan Pembelajaran : Diberikan beberapa situasi tertentu, peserta didik secara


berpasangan dapat :

1. Menyusun dialog tentang tindakan memberikan ucapan selamat


bersayap (extended) dan responnya dengan rasa percaya diri,
jujur dan bertanggung jawab

2. Memperagakan dialog yang mereka susun secara berpasangan


tentang tindakan memberikan ucapan selamat bersayap
(extended) dan responnya dengan percaya diri, jujur dan
bertanggun jawab

A. Introduction

Congratulations dalam bahasa indonesia adalah ucapan yang diberikan kepada


seseorang yang sedang mendapatkan kebahagiaan. Dengan kata lain congratulation
adalah suatu ungkapan pujian karena adanya suatu pencapaian atau prestasi. Kata
congratulation ini mempunyai arti yang sama dengan “good wish” atau harapan yang
baik kepada seseorang.
B. Giving Congratulation

Read the following dialogue!

Cita has won the first winner of the story telling competition in her school. Her best friend
congratulated her.

Ditto : Cita, congratulations for being the first winner of the school story telling
competition! Excellent. You really did it well.

Cita : Thanks, Ditto.

Ditto : I heard that you will be the representative of our school in the story telling
competition of our regency. Is it true?

Cita : Yes, you’re right.

Ditto : I hope you will win as well in the next competition.

Cita : I hope so. But I’m nervous.

Ditto : Don’t worry, you’re a very good story teller. Good luck.

Cita : Thanks. I’ll do my best. Wish me luck.

This dialogue is about congratulating Cita. Ditto congratulate Cita who has won the
first winner of the story telling competition.

Congratulations are words expressing praise for an achievement or good wishes on a


special occasion. Saying congratulation is one of the best ways to let a person know that you
are proud of him.

1. Social Function of Congratulating Someone


a. To develop interaction and communications with others.
b. To express our happiness or positive feeling about their success, and also to
maintain good relationship among friends, classmate, fellow workers,
colleagues, etc.
c. To respond someone’s achievement or success.

3. Congratulation Card
Besides expressing directly, we can also congratulate by sending a
congratulations card. Congratulations cards belong to greeting cards. A greeting
card is an illustrated card featuring an expression of friendship or other
sentiment. It is usually given on special occasion. A greeting card is also defined
as a piecess of paper or folded paper with text or image on the front and message
inside. Here are some example of greeting cards.
C. GIVING COMPLIMENTS
1. What is Compliment?
Compliment is an expression that we show or say to express/give praise.
Some people use compliments to “butter up” somebody or to flatter in order to
increase good will. Complement is for anyone you have occasion to talk with
(friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers).

Edward : The last time I checked, they haven’t been sold out yet. Grab them
fast if you want.

Mike : I would buy them right this instant if I had enough money.

Edward : I’m sorry about that, Mike. Don’t be worried though, they’ll launch
the new limited model two months from now.

Mike : I should start saving, then.

Edward : Yes, you should.
