Leadership – Whilst at sixth form, I was voted to be the vice captain of my House. This involved
making important decisions on team selections for House Days and taking charge of many House
Assemblies in an effort to keep the House motivated.
Negotiation – As social representative for the management society, I regularly have to negotiate
deals/offers with bars/nightclubs for events which I have organised for management students. It also
involves liaising with fellow students identifying their wants and striving to achieve them.
Organisation – In my role as a volunteer for the Lego Construction Club, it is crucial that I am able
to follow the necessary daily routines as required, whilst having the flexibility and understanding to
respond to the individual needs of the children.
Project management – As the student representative for the management society, I have an
obligation to organise 8 socials for the year including a trip to Amsterdam for management students.
