ACTIVITY 2: IN A RELATIONSHIP AND MORE

STUDY 1
Answers to Research Questions:
1. Aged 31-45 has the highest number of workers and aged 18-30 has the lowest number of workers.
2. Education has the highest number of workers in employment sector and Agriculture has the lowest number of
workers.

TABLE 1
Summary of Findings:
- Education has the highest employment of workers while Agriculture has the lowest and the age with the
highest number of workers are aged 31-45.
Conclusions:
- Among the groups, there are less workers of agriculture and Education as the highest. The second
highest employment sector is Business with the highest workers of aged 46-60.

STUDY 2
Answer to Research Question:
1. Yes
TABLE 1
Summary of Findings:
- Both variables is significant
Conclusions:
- Without media literacy, people can’t participate easily in an online class which we are dealing right now
so the result showed that both are significant.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

Drafting Research Conclusions
As I learn about this topic, I gain some knowledge that are essential to finish my own research paper and it also
guide me to have a good thesis paper. In drafting the research conclusions, I would analyse first the gathered
data and the result of the study and will later finalize the study. The data shows all the analytical document of
all the participant’s information.

WHAT I CAN DO
ACTIVITY 4: SUMMARIZING THE FINDINGS
Research Questions/Objectives Summary of Relevant Findings
1. What is the level of awareness and participation Out of 150 respondents, 63 or 41% of them were
on garbage segregation of the students in terms of male and 87 or 59% of them were female. Therefore,
age and sex? most of the respondents were Female. From 150
respondents, 188 of them were 18-19 years’ old and
covers 79% of the portion, 26 or 17% of them have
ages 20-21, 4 or 3% are within the ages of 22 above
and 2 or 1% of them were 16-17 years old. Therefore,
most of the respondents were at the ages 18-19 while
ages 16-17 have the least.

2. What are the students’ level of participation to The foregoing table presents the level of awareness
the practices on waste segregation according to sex and participation of the respondents when they are
grouped according to sex. It reveals that most of the
respondents answered “yes” which means that they
are aware to the implementation and they
participate to the practices on waste segregation.
The respondents practice “daily” waste segregation
which can be seen on indicator 2. It can also be seen
that the respondents “sometimes” practice the
reduce- re-use and recycle waste seen on indicators
4, 5, and 7. However, when it comes to selling
recycled waste, most of the respondents answered
“no”, which means that they did not participate to
the said practice. Over all, based on the table, male
with an average of 1.35 are more aware and more
participative in the implementation of waste
segregation compare to female with an average of
1.32, despite of it having a greater number of
respondents than to male.

3. What are the students’ level of participation to The foregoing table reveals the respondents level of
the practices on waste segregation according to age awareness and participation on waste segregation in
terms of their age. As shown in the table, most of
the respondents answered “yes”, which means that
they are aware on the implementation and they
participate on waste segregation. The respondents
practice “daily” waste segregation which can be seen
on indicator 2. It can also be seen that the
respondents “sometimes” practice reduce, re-use
and recycle wastes, seen on indicators 4, 5, and 7.
However, when it comes to selling recycled waste,
most of the respondents answered “no”, which
means that they did not participate to the said
practice. In contrary, only respondents with ages 22
above answered “yes”, which means that they
participate to the practice of selling recycled wastes,
seen in indicator 8. Furthermore, based on the over-
all results indicated on the table, ages 18-19 have
the most number of respondents that are aware in
the implementation and participate to the practices
on waste segregation with an average of 1.34, ages
20-21 with an average of 1.30 as the second, follow
by an average of 1.27 from the ages 22 above and
ages 16-17 with an average of 1.25 as the least.

ACTIVITY 5: DRAFTING CONCLUSIONS

Research Questions Conclusions
- What is the level of awareness and Based on the findings of this study, the following
participation on garbage segregation of the
students in terms of age and sex? conclusions were drawn:
- What are the students’ level of participation
to the practices on waste segregation a) Most of the respondents were female.
according to sex
- What are the students’ level of participation b) Most of the respondents are in the ages 18-19.
to the practices on waste segregation
c) Most of the respondents are aware to the
according to age
implementation of waste segregation act and

participate to the practices in waste segregation in

terms of their age and sex.

d) The implementation of waste segregation is

highly effective and greatly affect to the

respondents’ level of awareness and participation

on waste segregation.

unnecessary pop ups of unwanted ads.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

My Learning Experience in Formulating Research Recommendations
Recommendations are based on the results of your research and indicate the specific measures or directions that
can be taken. For example, a clinical study might have implications for cancer research and might recommend
against the use of a particular hazardous substance. In my experience I learned that recommendations are
written to relate directly to the aims of the project as stated in the introduction. It also indicate the extent to
which the aims have been achieved. In this lesson, formulating recommendation is another knowledge that I
acquired as I answer the given activities to guide me or show how a recommendation must be done and
accumulated.
