Capture File data base Capture File Part Number
Engine Model
CDUC utilities a Capture File database, to allow a PCC
to be calibrated. Locate the respective capture file part
number to program a PCC using the Overlay Capture file
feature in InPower.
 Two methods to locate the respective Capture File
1. Capture file part number located on the data tag,
when applicable.
2. Refer to the PCC Capture Files Master.xlsx to sort
by; engine model, PCC control type, kW, and voltage.

EControls Software 4G vs. GCP
What software to use:
 Primarily based on build date, new gensets use the new 4G software.
 Simplest way to determine what software is needed is to read the tag on the engine ECM
 A ECM that uses 4G will be marked with 4G on the tag

Pressure and flow requirements

• See Specification sheet
• On-engine regulator not provided for EICS
engines (855E-300, GTA28E, GTA38E, GTA50E)
- CDUC cannot maintain UL Listing while shipping
gas regulator which was not certified with the unit
– It would void the UL certification
- Specified and provided by the contractor

Pressure compensating regulator suggested

for EICS products
• Maintains constant engine inlet pressure
• DEPRs sensitive to over-pressure
• Higher cost
• Success with Itron

Gen Set BOM
(Bill of Material)
Inquiry -
Instructions
April 2020

BOM inquiry on CDUC Work orders
 The objective is to communicate how to obtain a printed copy of the BOM for a CDUC built products.
 A majority of these requests for physical parts or quotes on the BOM’s may need to be handled by
CDUC until the BOM is placed on QSOL.
 Pricing in OneBMS should be checked as the volumes on non-production parts may vary due to
supplier pricing at certain break quantities.
 Note that pricing and availability on production parts will also have to be weighed before dispatching
parts to each branch for their customer. CDUC will make every attempt to review the needs with our
production team and will provide the best options to obtain and ship your requested parts.
 Access is needed and instruction on how to get a printed copy is included in this PPT instruction.
 There are a restrictions on who would be provided access to the OneBMS databases and may or
may not be granted. Who needs access and who will get access will need to be decided upon by a
employees manager and the BMS team who handles the access requests.
