I. Introduction (Time Frame: 5 minutes)
Last week, you were able to identify the different tempo markings of some well-known songs. Study those songs
so that you will be able to remember their tempo markings.

At the end of this lesson, you are expected to demonstrate the different kinds of tempo by following the tempo
marks in a familiar song from the community e.g., “Pandangguhan.”
Do the activity that follows to assess how well you recognize the different kinds of tempo.

action in front of your parents/guardians.

Do you know that the different kinds of tempo can be found in one song? The tempo varies within a
composition for expressive purposes as well as, for contrast and variation.

Learning Task 2: Study the song “PANDANGUHAN.” Identify and write down the tempo markings used in the
song.

E. Engagement (Time Frame: 15 minutes)

Learning Task 3: Answer the following questions based on the song, “Pandangguhan.” Write your answer in your
notebook.

1. What is the song about?


2. How many tempo markings were used in the song?
3. Will you enjoy singing this song? Why?

Learning Task 4: With the help of your housemates, learn and sing the song “Huling El Bimbo” by Eraserheads.
Record yourself while singing the song. Send the recorded video to your Music teacher via messenger.

Note: Follow and apply the tempo markings found in the song.
