ASSESSMENT OF 2O20-2021 CURRICULUM

(MOST ESSENTIAL LEARNING COMPETENCY)

Course Title: Mathematics 7

STRENGTHS:
1. The competencies of the MELC are attainable.
2. The power competencies can be found in the MELC.
3. The sequences of the competencies are aligning.

Weakness
1. The time frame for each competency is not enough to finish in the given time.

Recommendation:
1. Module must be given to the students ahead of time.
2. Unpack some of the competencies to attain the performance standard.
Course Description: The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts and principles of numbers and number sense (sets and real numbers system); measurement
(conversion of units of measurement); patterns and algebra (algebraic expressions and properties of real numbers as applied in linear equations and inequalities in one variable);
geometry (sides and angles of polygons); and statistics and probability (data collection and presentation, and measures of central tendency and variability) as applied- using
appropriate technology – critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, communicating, making connections, representations, and decisions in real life.

SCA Mission: The mission of St. Clement Academy is to provide high quality and affordable education that will enable its student to become glocally and globally competitive.
The administrators, faculty and staff are committed to develop the totality of every student using holistic approach.

SCA Vision: To become a world class educational institution that will develop leaders and God fearing graduates that is responsive to the needs of modern times.

FIRST QUARTER
CONTENT STANDARDS: The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of sets and the real number system.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: The learner is able to formulate challenging situations involving sets and real numbers and solve these in a variety of strategies.
