MICROBLADING

Microblading Eyebrows is a semi-permanent makeup


procedure to improve the aesthetics of your eyebrows.

All microblading eyebrow treatments are performed by


our specialist.

We use a super fine pen with 12 to 15 microblades for


depositing ink pigments in form of hair strokes.

This gives very fine natural looking shaped eyebrows.


The results last for 1 – 2 years after which the pigments
fade leaving your natural eye brows exactly as they were
before.

Microblading is best for reshaping, thin or short


eyebrows, arching and stable alopecia areata in the
eyebrow areas.
Many beauticians class it as semi-permanent, but with
regular top-ups and great aftercare, it can last a lifetime.
The actual technique of implanting pigment into fine
incisions in the skin goes back thousands of years, but
gained popularity for use with eyebrows in Asia with the
feathering or embroidery trend.

Microblading procedure
 You will have a consultation and fill out a
questionnaire and other medical-like forms.

 Your brows will then be designed on your face using


a brow pencil.

 Once a shape is agreed upon, the numbing cream will


be applied.

 A pigment will be chosen or custom blended whilst you


are numbing.
PROPER MEASUREMENTS ARE TO BE TAKEN
Before final treatment the shape
is approved by the patient
A sterile needle will be inserted into the handtool.

We will begin to create beautiful hair strokes in your


brow area.

Once completed you will be given after care advice and a


after care kit to follow for 10–14 days .

You will be asked to book a follow up appointment


within 1–2 months. The followup is imperative for best
results possible.
HOW LONG DOES THE RESULTS LAST
WITH MICRO BLADING
The coloured pigment molecules will stay in the
skin indefinitely, typically colour remains for
several years, however the visible results will
vary with each individual, depending on pigment
colour choice (lighter shades can fade much
quicker) age, medication, skin type and lifestyle.
•The results can also be dependent on following
aftercare instruction.

There is no guarantee as each individual will


respond differently.

•Maintenance colour retouch applications is


advisable every 12-18 months.

IS IT SAFE?
Yes.
•Cosmetic tattooing and microblading have proven to be
safe.

•The pigments that many professionals use are inorganic


iron oxides, distilled water, alcohol and glycerine.
SIDE EFFECTS
The area may feel a little tender for the first few hours
after treatment.

In some cases they can feel a little itchy as they heal over
the first week.

It is advised to follow your after care instruction to apply


Vaseline during the first week. This protects and soothes.
The colour will appear darker than expected for the first
6-10 days but will soften and fade out as they heal.

IS THE TREATMENT
PAINFUL?
No.
A topical anaesthetic cream will be applied beforehand
for your comfort.
You may experience slight pressure but no pain.
(We recommend to bring headphones and some music
to listen to during your treatment to help relax)
CAN NATURAL COLOUR BE MATCHED?
Yes. A suitable colour will be chosen to match as close to
your natural hair as possible.

The coloured pigment used in tattooing and microblading


are the same colours that are found in all retail makeup.

In some cases it is advised to choose colour that is a little


lighter (only a shade or two) than your usual brow colour
on your first application.

It is easy then to darken them on your top up procedure if


you wish.
