Basic Parameter setting needs to be done to run two servos and one spindle.

Parameters are to be set in MDI mode.


1. Enter 987 & press [NO SRH]
Parameter No. Set Value Description
987 2 Number of Controlled axes
(Power must be turned off).

2. Set 1020 For Program axis name for each axis, [ASCII Values].

Eg: 88=X, 90=Z. (X=88, Y=89, Z=90, A=65, B=66, C=67)

3. Set 1022 for Setting of each axes in basic coordinate system.

Eg: 1: X axis, 2: Y axis, 3: Z axis.


0=Rotation axis(C- axis)

4. Set 1023 for FSSB Setting


(Eg.1, 2, 3, 4:Seq. Number of the servo axis for each axis), X=1, Z=2

09. Press function key [SYSTEM] and press continuous menu key [+] several times to display soft key
[PRMTUN]. Press soft key [PRMTUN] to display the parameter setting support screen.
10. Select SERVO SETTING OPRT SELECT CHANGE

Calculations:

 CMR Setting:
Set CMR with the scale of a distance the NC instructs the machine to move.
Setting value = (Command unit / Detection unit) x 2
CMR = 2 .Usually, set CMR with 2, because command unit = detection unit
When CMR is 1 to 48 Setting=CMR x 2, When CMR is ½ to 1/27 Setting= (1/CMR)+ 100.
