• Project description – A unique 351 feet high shiva statue in a
very pleasing appearance on an artificial hillock at Nathdwara,
Rajasthan under charitable flagship of Miraj Group.

• Project features - life span of 250 years, World’s tallest shiva


351’ Feet Shiva statue.
Statue • Project status – Statue of belief is completed and will be open for
public soon.

• Construction features – 4th tallest statue constructed of


composite structure with structural steel as skeleton and
ultrahigh performance concrete for skin.
Key plan
• The total system supported by structural members within statue comprises of 2650MT structural
steel, 2700 MT reinforcement steel & 8500cum concrete.

• It has staircases, elevators and slabs for movement inside the statue.

• The statue has been designed to have all the details, expressions, features and emotions of shiva in
shell concrete itself.

• Single use innovative FRP molds were specially designed & prepared to obtain required features in
the statue.

• Strength testing– Structural stability is checked for earthquake resistance and also for heavy winds
upto 250kmph by wind tunnel analysis at Sydney- Australia

PROJECT FEASIBILITY STAGE
• APPROVALS FROM UIT

• *Land Use Plan Approval : For the plot is required from Udaipur Development Authority (UIT) and the Ministry of UD , when the
land is shown s Govt. land in the Mater plan of Udaipur. The land use plan for land area is to be notified by the ministry of UD after
the same is approved by UITs.

• *Approval For Change In Land Use : Approval for change in land use of the plot is required from UIA and the Ministry of UD, when
the land shown in zonal plan (where the plot is located)/ Land allotment letter to be changed. The land use *plan for land area is to be
notified by the Ministry of UD after the same is approved by UIA.

• *NOC For Construction / Augmentation : Of any departmental residential pool accommodation by a Ministry / Department is required
from the Directorate of Estate , Ministry of UD.
PROJECT FEASIBILITY STAGE

• *APPROVAL FROM AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF INDIA

• No Objection Certificate : Is required for height clearance of Buildings / Structures / Masts from the Directorate of
Air Traffic Management , Airport Authority of India (AAI), when the project lies within 20 kms . Radius of Air
strips/funnel.

• APPROVAL FROM L&DO :

• *No Objection Certificate From L&DO : When the land is lease-hold; owned by L&DO and no construction was
undertaken within the time limit stipulated in the allotment letter.
SANCTION STAGE
• Local Body Approvals : Is required from the local authority ( UIA and Local body) under the provisions of Udaipur Buildings
Byelaws, Master plan of Udaipur and Local Body Acts.

• *Approval From National Monument Authority : No Objection Certificate required from the National Monument Authority ( NMA)
/ Archeological Survey of India (ASI), When the entire project site or part/s of it is within 300meter radius from the declared
boundary of any monument protected under Ancient Monument Act and is under the control of ASI.

• *Approval From Forest Department : Is required from the Forest Department, GNCTD when there is a proposal for tree
cutting/felling and transplantation at the site.

• *Approval From Heritage Conservation committee : Is required from the Heritage Conservation Committee (HCC) when the project
has any link/ relation from the Heritage building and precincts and within their compound.
SANCTION STAGE
• Approval From Road Owning Agency : NOC is required from the Road Owning Agency when cutting of footpath or road or service
lane or Right of way (ROW) is involved.

• Approval From Traffic Police : NOC is required from the Udaipur Traffic Police when the proposal involves disruption of general
traffic movement/ circulation pattern temporarily or permanently during and after the construction of the project.

• Approval From Chief Fire Officer : Approval /Fire Safety Certificate is required from Chief Fire Officer (CFO) / Director, Udaipur Fire
Services for the proposals at layout plan stage as stipulated in the Udaipur building byelaws and National Building Code ( NBC).

• Environment Clearance Is Required From Ministry Of Environment And Forests ( MEF) : State level expert committee for all building
/ construction projects having built up area more than 20000 square meters and area development projects / townships covering am
area more than 50 hectare or built up area more than 1,50,000 square meters.
BUILDING PERMIT STAGE

• Approval from local body for sanction of building plans

• Approval from DCP / NOC

• Approval from power distributing agency

• Approval/noc/assurance from water supply agency is required for uninterrupted water supply,
drainage and sewage connections.
CONSTRUCTION STAGE

• Permission is required from central ground water authority to abstract ground water.

• Intimation to the local authority : the owner/applicant who has been granted building permit shall
intimate the local authority in writing before 7 days of starting construction.

• Plinth level notice is required to be submitted


COMPLETION STAGE

• Completion cum occupancy certificate from local body before occupation of the building

• Approval from the lift inspector : Noc from lift inspector before granting completion cum
occupancy certificate when lifts are installed in the building.
