5.2. Further on congruency and similarity Congruency


The idea of congruency usually related to the same products manufactured from industries. For example
the some exercise books, books, pictures etc. so two plane figures are said to be congruent, if they are exact
correspondence to each other.
5.2.1. Congruency of triangle
Triangles that have the same shape and size are called congruent triangles. That is three sides and three
angles of the first triangles are exactly equal to three sides and three angles of the second triangle.
Remark
“Ξ” is the symbol for congruency
For example: let ∆ABC and ∆EFG is - Copy the note and do the given
