Ng Cheng Yue. The theme of our
presentation is Friends.

Section 1
(Proverbs): Hello. My name is (..)We found a few
proverbs about friendship. The first
proverb
is “A friend is much easy to lose than
found.” It is hard to find a true friend but
easy to lose one. Next, “A friend in need is
a
friend indeed.” A true friend will always
help you out in a hard moment. Last but
not
least, “True friendship lasts forever”. A true
friend will always be by your side no
matter
what.
Section 2
(What makes a good friendship) :

Hello. My name is (…). So what makes a good


friendship?
In our opinion, the most important thing in a friendship
is shared interests so you have something talk about.
Next, it is trust. You have to trust each other to make
you friendship last for a long time. Then, honesty. You
should be honest to your friend. Therefore, we also
have to respect our friends and treat them the way we
want to be treated. Next, cooperation and tolerance is
also important in a friendship. Then, we have support.
A good friend will always support you in a hard
moment. When we have a friend, we also have to learn
to listen and understand them. And last but not least,
no one is perfect, everyone may do some mistakes so
we must also learn to forgive.

to make friends?
-Go where people are most friends you make will be
people who have the same interests you do.

-Be a friend to yourself- don't put yourself down.

yourself- no one is perfect. Your friends won't expect
you to be perfect, so it is best to just be yourself.
Don't expect perfection in your friends-like you, your
friends will make mistakes now and then. Laugh with
them about it, but don't put them down.

Friendship is give and take- friendship is sharing things


like feelings, plans, and dreams. To make and keep a
friend, you have to give as well as take. Learn to
compromise.

Realize you will sometimes disagree with your friend-
nobody agrees all the time. Disagreements don't have
to mean the end of a relationship.

Give your friend space- almost everyone likes to be


alone sometime. Give your friend space to have other
friends, too.

Be choosy about your friends- real friends will not ask


you to do things that are harmful or against the law.

Let people know that


you are interested in them. Don't just talk about
yourself; ask questions about them.

Importance of Friends in Our Life

Friends will motivate you and act as one of the most


reliable supporting steps in the journey of your
success.

Friendship teaches us about loyalty and trust.

A true friend will not lie or wish for your harm.

Friends set aside differences and uphold the good in


the other.

Real friends will help you out of depression and let you
regain your best confident self.

GOOD FRIEND

• A good friend always supports you and helps you


when you are troubled.

• A good friend is always there to lend their shoulder


when you need to cry.

• A true friend always supports and loves you.

A good friendship is borne out of brotherhood and


fellow-feeling.

Friendship does not know any particular age boundary.

• We can build a great friendship with almost anyone,


whether they be younger or older.

• Friendship requires dedication and devotion.


• A true friend never lets you feel hesitant or sad or
inferior about something.

• The mark of true friendship is respect.
