A. ONE OF THE DISCUSSION QUESTION

Describe the different ways of classifying hotels?

 There are different ways of classifying hotels. One way is by location, such as
city center, suburban, airport, highway, and resorts. Another way is by type of
guest, such as commercial, convention, and resort. A more meaningful
classification is one based on price such as economy or budget, standard, first-
class, or deluxe.

B. ONE CHAPTER OF ACTIVITY

Taking each mode of transportation, what specifically can be done to minimize


damage to the environment?

 I think it is better to lessen the use of environment hazardous products such as


using gasoline for transportation. for me, using e-bicycles, e-buses, and the used
of electricity are one of the best step to lessen the air pollution.

C. CHOOSE FIVE WORDS IN THE KEY TERM AND CONCEPTS, AND


DESCRIBE THIS WORDS, AND USE THEM IN A SENTENCE/RELATE
EXPERIENCE ABOUT THEM.

Transportation - it means to reach a destination and movement at the destination.

 The pandemic affects the means of transportation, as a commuter, for me, it is


hard to use today’s transportation.

Restaurants - A business establishment where meals o refreshment may be


purchased.

 We used to eat in the restaurants whenever we celebrate occasions.

Accommodations - a term used to include food and lodging, it may be in a hotel, inn,
pension, condominium, or hostel.

 It’s easy for me to remember hotel’s name using their good accommodations and
service.

Natural resources - A tourism supply component which includes climate, natural


scenery, togography, flora, fauna, lakes, rivers and volcanoes.
 Even though, I am living in an urban area, inside our barangay it is easy to find
natural resources such as foods and other means of living.

Hotel - An establishment that provides lodging and usually meals, entertainment, and
various personal services for the public.

 I appreciated the goods services, eco-friendly and accommodations as I


experienced staying in a hotel.

D. ANSWER ALL THE OBJECT TYPE OF TEST

Hospitality resources 1. Is the general feeling of being welcomed that visitors


receive while visiting a destination.

Infrastructure 2. Refers to the underground and surface construction of a


region.

Paradores 3. What monasteries,convents,and castles converted into


hotels are called.

Bed and breakfast accommodations 4. Are accommodations that provide a


room,bath,and breakfast to travelers.

Hotels 5. What establishments that serve refreshments and meals


to the public are called.

Condominium 6. Is an apartment owned by an individual but managed by


an independent company.

Superstructure 7. Refers to facilities and services that are above the ground
such as hotels,airports,and shopping centers.

Pensions 8 .Are family-operated tourist-lodging houses which offer


an informal family atmosphere.

Natural resources 9. Is a tourism and hospitality supply component which


includes climate,lakes,volcanoes,and flora and fauna.

Visitor 10. Is another name for"tourist."
