Sistema Embebido Basado en FPGA para El Monitoreo de Condiciones Ambientales

This document presents the design of an embedded system using an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) to acquire signals related to environmental conditions like light, sound, temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide, methane, and liquefied petroleum gas. The FPGA allows for nanosecond scanning rates, providing a robust database for analyzing the monitoring environment. The system interfaces with user displays to visualize data and manages a database for creating reports on conditions affecting work or other environments. The FPGA-based design achieves fast scanning needed to monitor variables that change extremely quickly over time.

This document presents the design of an embedded system based on FPGA (Field
Programmable Gate Array) for the acquisition of signals corresponding to physical
variables such as light, sound, temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide (CO),
methane (CH4), gas license of oil (C3H8 + C4H10) to then be visualized in different
platforms where user interfaces of the system reside, which also manages a database
with the objective of making technical reports of the conditions that influence a person
in his work environment or in any environment where we need to monitor data. With
an FPGA as the CPU of the system, a scanning rate of nanoseconds is obtained, thus
obtaining a more solid database at the time of making decisions about the condition
of the monitoring environment and especially in the variables of time are extremely
fast.
