Karachi—Hinopak Motors has recently introduced the new Hino Dutro Junior and Hino Gb Bus to its customers in a graceful Launching
Ceremony held at Hino Karachi. (Hinopak’s 3S dealership). The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries from different walks of life,
customers, etc. A large of number of transporters inspected the vehicle and appreciated efforts for providing solutions to the local transport
industry especially in LDV segment for city operations.
Chief Guest of the occasion was Mohammad Hussain Syed, DO CDGK. He appraised the efforts of Hinopak in promoting new and safe
technologies in the transport sector. He congratulated Hinopak for launching Hino Dutro Junior and Gb bus, the ultimate requirement of LDV
segment. He also appraised Hinopak and its staff for their contribution in CDGK CNG bus project by offering reliable and quality buses for the
citizens of Karachi.
Speaking on the occasion, Hideya lijima, Managing Director, Hinopak said that he feels very proud that they are introducing Dutro Junior & Gb
Bus to fulfill our customers requirement. He highlighted that Dutro Junior truck for intra-city goods transportation movement designed especially
for Light Duty segment to fulfill the requirements of drivers and owners of this segment. However, in bus segment Hinopak is introducing Gb bus
for small distance passengers movement that will cater with proven Hino quality, durability and reliability.
Earlier, Takeshi Ito, DMD, Hinopak welcomed and thanked all the distinguished and honorable guests present in the ceremony. In his address he
said the introduction of Hino Dutro Junior and Gb Bus fulfils customers requirement specially in LDV segment. “We are confident that newly
introduced LDV truck and buses would be beneficial in terms of profitability due to product quality, its better fuel efficiency, low maintenance cost
would be and additive edge of these vehicles in the commercial market” he said.

Hinopak launches CNG bus

KARACHI: Hinopak Motors Limited, the largest manufacturer of trucks and buses in Pakistan, launched its
HINO Dutro Light Duty Truck and local made CNG bus at a ceremony held at Expo Centre on Wednesday.
In his welcome address on the occasion, Kunwar Idris, Chairman Hinopak, said that local production of
dedicated Hino CNG buses and introduction of Hino's world renowned Dutro Light Duty truck with euro
emission compliant engine are just two examples of our strive.
Since recent past, he pointed out that Pakistan Government has been taking keen interest towards
modernisation and growth of national transportation network.
He appreciated the government plans to introduce mono rail system in Karachi and urged the government to
support urban transport system as mono rail system would take long time to implement.
He emphasised that CNG buses are the need of the day and Hinopak Motors has finally come up with its
production of dedicated CNG engine buses with huge investment.
Kanwar Idrees exhorted the urban operators to come forward and start their operation with CNG buses.
Sumio Fukaya, Senior Executive Officer, Overseas Sales and Marketing Division, Hino Motors Japan in his
speech described Pakistan as an important market for Hino and assured full support of Hino Japan to Hinopak
to cater the needs of Pakistani market.
K. Maeda, Managing Director and CEO, Hinopak Motors Limited, referred to displaying new CNG bus and Dutro
Light Duty truck models which, he said, are more environment-friendly, safer and more comfortable for drivers
and passengers.
He believed that it will benefit the nation in the long-run by saving precious foreign exchange spent on import
of fuel as well as reducing pollution and improving the city's environment.
He said Hinopak has already invested over a billion rupees in this project and so far has imported 12 units and
is now waiting for orders from urban operators.
The ceremony was largely attended by corporate heads, entrepreneurs, government officials, transporters and
bus operators.
