Format for the Body of the Written Work

Introduction
The paper must contain the following elements in the prescribed format:
1. Title page,
2. Body text with clear indicators of introduction, analysis, and conclusion,
3. References.
The size of the written work should be between 1500 and 2000 words not
including tables, figures, and references.

Page Format
Margin: 1.5 inches
Font: Cambria or Times New Roman, 12 points
Line spacing: 1.5 for text, single spacing for tables
Text – justified

Structure of the Paper


Sections should not be numbered
Heading 1 – 12 point bold
Heading 2- 12 point, not bold, italics
Heading 3, 10 point, not bold, not italics

Text Format
Vernacular words in italics
Figures between - 1 to 10 - are to be written in words and beyond that in numeric.
Full forms of all acronyms should be given when used first in text. After that only
acronym will do.

Citation: In text
One or two authors: example- Clark 2010 or Clark and Johnson 2013 (use family
name)
More than two authors: example- Clark et al 2011 (where Clark is the first author)
In case of organizational reports etc: example – UNICEF 2014
Quotes: to include page no also. Example - Clark 2011: 30; Quotes to be placed
under inverted comma.
