⚫ It allows one to make an educated guess.
⚫ Investigating the patterns that one finds in
numbers, shapes and expressions would
lead to making new discoveries

Arithmetic Sequences
⚫ An arithmetic sequence is a sequence of
numbers such that the difference of any
two successive members of the sequence
is a constant called the common

numbers where each term after the first
is found by multiplying the previous one
by a fixed, non-zero number called the
common ratio r.
