Position Held: Junior Design Engineer
Client: Punjab Saaf Pani Company Lahore

Working as Water Supply Design Engineer on Punjab Saaf Pani Project (PSP), Package (I,
III & VII), one of the biggest projects launched by The Government of Punjab to provide
clean drinking water to all villages of Province Punjab

• Designing of cluster-based Water Supply Schemes using Bentley Water Gems V8i,
& EPA.net.
• Working in coordination with GIS team to decide the cluster boundary and its
projected area
• Calculation of population of projected Cluster through Area Base Method
• Calculation of water demand for a projected cluster
• Conducted Water Quality tests to check the contamination of water
• Providing Water Treatment methods according to contamination of subjected water
• Responsible for collection of data regarding to Population & Water Quality of
specific area by field visits
• Worked as an assistant to Senior Engineer during inspections and at meetings
• Assisted Senior Environmental Specialist in preparations of EIA Reports of all
Districts
• Participated as Design Engineer in design team to complete the design work of all
Tehsils of Districts included in Package (I, III & VII)

Client: Irrigation Department, Government of Punjab

• Preparation of EIA and RAP of the project


• Conducted field surveys to collect the baseline data from primary and secondary
sources
• Proposing measures to minimize negative social and environmental effects of the
project. In particular, measures to minimize the need to relocate people, acquisition of
highly productive land, removal of trees and damage to roads and other infrastructure
as a result of haulage of materials.
• Study of issues related to solid waste disposal and management in the project area and its
vicinity.
• Preparation of a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), which will include: Identification of
households, commercial and industrial units and highly productive agriculture land
that are likely to be affected by the project. Suggest alternative proposals in order to
minimize acquisition of high value land.
