Welcome & Send-Off Program
Welcome & Send-Off Program
Introduction: “Today you may smile or even cry. But forgetting these memories, you dare not
try.”
Best morning everyone! One of the most anticipated events in the life of a teacher is their
welcome and send-off program, held with the objective to welcome a new teacher with a lot of
love and warmth, and bidding an outgoing teacher goodbye, expressing gratitude to them for
their contributions, and wishing them the best for their future. We wish to make this day a
memorable one for our two lovely teachers. Without much ado, let us begin this day.
When you kneel to God, He stands up for you. And when He stands up for you, no one can stand
against you. With this strong belief, I call upon Maam Mercinita M. Tugatug to lead us in prayer.
To be followed immediately by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem with Maam Jenny
Mae Meru, conducting.
“Small cheer and great welcome make a merry feast” says William Shakespeare. May I now
request Maam Lilibeth B. Sadang to share her thoughts and welcome us in this gathering.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” says Lao Tzu. As you ready to set a
brand new journey of your life, we would like you to carry the wishes of those people who wants
nothing but success.
a. SPG President Wency Abryl Malubay
b. PTA President Ricardo L. Guifaya
c. Teachers
d. Hon. Reynaldo M. Ramos
e. Hon. Nestor B. Buyuccan
f. Sir Winston Tanglod (former SH of VGIS, now the school Principal of CABIS)
g. Maam Liwliwa B. Bareng (Public Schools District Supervisor-Maddela II)
“Don’t be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And
meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.” To Maam Sheila
May Gelacio, we prepare a simple video presentation about your journey in our beloved school,
VGIS.
Feelings aren’t wrong or right, bad or good. Feelings just are. They may forget what you said,
but they will not forget how you made them feel. May I call upon Maam Sheila to deliver her
words of gratitude.
*thank you very much Sir, for those words of challenge and encouragement
A teacher does not replicate his/her image in the student, but molds the student into a person who
can build his/her own image.
A teacher sees unlimited possibilities in a student. A teacher to the world, but a hero to us.
I guess, Maam Aimay is now ready to take the responsibility.
We convey the best of our wishes to you this day. May you shine, glorify and reach greater
heights each day. God bless everyone.!
