SPECIFICATION

FUNCTION

1. Access 64 samples on 16 pressure and velocity-sensitive MPC pads with four banks each
2. MPC technologies include Note Repeat, Swing, 16 Level, Full Level, and Tap Tempo
3. Control virtually any 12 software parameter on assignable Q-Link knobs and faders
4. Dedicated transport controls transmit MMC and MIDI to DAW and sequencing
applications

 MPD26 TEST PROCEDURES
Equipment Needed.
1 MPD26 x1
2 MIDI looping cable x1
3 USB cable x1
4 PC with MPD26 tester program x1

Setting up
1 Plug in th MIDI looping cable to the midi jack at MPD26.
2 Connects using USB cable to the PC

Part I Starting the test and setup

1 Click the below icon at desktop to start the MPD26 tester.

2 The program will load and a setting selection window will show as below:

3 Click and select the selection by clicking the drop down menu.
4 Click DONE to proceed.
 TEST PROCEDURES
Part II Button and encoder Test
1 An interface window as below will show once the setup selection.

2 Start the test by pressing all the button one by one once at a time.
When a button are pressed, it will turn green at the program interface.
After all the buttons are pressed, you will see figure as below.

 TEST PROCEDURES
3 Press the encoder and the center portion of the encoder will turn green.
4 Turn the encoder clockwise and anti clockwise to make the circle protion of the encoder green.
5 After all buttons and encoder are tested, a Button PASS will turn green as below:

Part III VR and fader test

1 Turn all 6 VR clockwise and anti clockwise and make sure the current parameter shows 0 ~ 127.
2 After all the VR pass, it will turn green as below:

 TEST PROCEDURES
3 Push the Fader up to max getting 127 then down to 0 either way. If it pass it will turn green.
4 After all the faders are tested pass, the Pots PASS will turn green as below:

Part IV Touch PAD test

1 Press The Touch PAD each one by one by slowly increase force on it so that the current
parameter shown at the top left of the window can slowly increase to 127.
When you press corretly it will pass and turn green after you release it.

 TEST PROCEDURES
Part V MIDI Loopback Test
1 If the midi loopback cable are inserted before the pad test pass, the Loopback test will
pass automatically as shown below.

2 If the midi loopback cable are inserted after the pad test pass then you have to press Test
Midi Loopback manually to test midi Loopback.

Part VI LED tests

1 After the midi test, check on the LED at the PCBA.
2 If the LED is flashing then press the LED Pass buttong shown below to pass it.

 TEST PROCEDURES
Part VII Display test (LCD)
1 Confirm LCD have full pixel and no missing pixel as shown below:

2 Press Display Pass Pass the test.
3 All Pass will be show as below to indicate all the test passes.

Part VIII Scanning the Bar Code.(FINAL LINE ONLY)

1 Use the bar code scanner to scan the bard code into the MPD26.
2 Note that this can be perform after All test has Pass.
