COMPLIANCE TO THE MINIMUM PUBLIC HEALTH STANDARDS.
1. Attached herewith is a copy of the letter from Annabelle P. Yumang, MD, MCH,
CESO IV, Regional Director, Department of Health - Region XI, reiterating the
importance of strict compliance to the Minimum Public Health Standards in
accordance to the Department Memorandum Circular on Strengthening the
Enforcement and Implementation of the Minimum Public Health Standards which
is also attached in this Memorandum.
2. Further, hereunder is the Division Monitoring Team with Jay Ann L, Plaza, MD,
Medical Officer III of this Division as overseer, to wit:

‘Attached is the Jotter from Dr. Annabelle P. Yumang, Regional Director of
Department of Health — Davao Center for Efealth Development (DOH-DCHD) XI dated April
29, 2021, which reiterated the importance of strict compliance to Minimum Public Health
Standards as stated in the attached DCHD Memorandum Circular No. 2021 — 0021 dated
Aprif 21, 2021. i
‘Thus, this Office reiterated the stricter enforcement and implementation of the
Minimum Public Health Standards (MPHS) in all DepEd offices and schools. Since as we
fight against this COVID-19 pandemic, MEPS is one of the best practices to prevent 2
possible surge of COVID-19 vases. Everyone is expected to be committed Lo the strict
‘compliance of the MHPS as COVID-19 hes no definitive treatment yet.
‘Alongside this, is to support the implementation of the DOH’s “BIDA Sclusyon Plus
sa COVID-19” campaign (Be the Solution), which encourages Filipino people to take an
active role in the fight against the pandemic through change in behavior and-mindsct in
adapting to the new normal, This campaign simplified in tetters 8-J-D-A:
