During the glory days of superheroes, fighting crime in the city and saving
people’s life. The Colours were highly saturated and full of energy. Those
colours were usually red, orange, blue and yellow. The colour red represents
anger, passion, rage, desire, excitement, energy, speed, strength, power, heat,
love, aggression, danger, fire, blood, war, violence; orange represents humour,
energy, balance, warmth, enthusiasm, vibrant, expansive, flamboyant; blue
represents faith, spirituality, contentment, loyalty, fulfilment peace,
tranquility, calm, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence,
conservatism, security, cleanliness, order, sky, water, cold, technology,
depression, calming; yellow represents wisdom, knowledge, relaxation, joy,
happiness, optimism, idealism, imagination, hope, sunshine, summer,
dishonesty, cowardice, betrayal, jealousy, covetousness, deceit, illness, hazard .
And then when there lawsuit against all the superheroes in the city and they
were forced to use superpowers and fit in with the normal citizens, the colours
were desaturated and lightened which weren’t for them. The colours that was
mostly used were grey, pale green and brown.

In this movie two different colour palette were used to document the changes
in Bob’s life. In the beginning highly saturated colours were used to show the
superhero life of Bob and then desaturated and dull colours were used to show
the boring ‘normal life’ of Bob in the insurance company.
