7 Segment LED Based SPI Display Using 74HC595

This document describes a project to create a 7-segment LED display using a 74HC595 shift register and an SPI interface to control the display. The shift register is used to multiplex the LED segments and reduce the number of I/O pins needed from the microcontroller. The SPI interface allows easy communication from the microcontroller to the shift register for displaying values on the 7-segment LEDs.
