The Grade 4 teachers at Old Cabalan Integrated School in Olongapo City conducted a focused group discussion on May 19, 2021 to prepare for the upcoming School-Based Management validation for 2020-2021. The discussion was facilitated by Raquel Torres and addressed the measures of validation that needed to be completed. Teachers asked questions and all matters were fully explained. The meeting ensured teachers understood what was discussed and assigned responsibility for each measure of validation.

The Grade 4 teachers in Old Cabalan Integrated School, conducted a Focused
Group Discussion seminar last May 19, 2021 through the initiative of Ms. Raqule E.
Torres, Teacher II and Grade Leader of Old Cabalan Integrated School.

On the that day, the discussion was started at exactly 2 o’clock in the afternoon with a
prayer led by Ms. Aika Joy M. Nardo, Teacher I, followed by the nationalistic song to be
played by Mr. Wilfer Edson B. Bangcoleng, Teacher I. The topic of this FGD discussed by the
facilitator the MOVs that needs to be complied for the upcoming SBM Validation for 2020-
2021. The MOVs was presented and given to the assigned teacher of each MOVs.

There was an open forum wherein they were free to ask questions regarding to the agenda
that had been discussed. There were many questions raised by teachers that were answered
well by the facilitators.

The FGD was ended ensuring that all matters that have been tackled and agreed was fully
understand by the teachers.
