Q1: What is Central Processing Unit (CPU)?

Ans.: CPU (Central Processing Unit) is called the Brain of computer, it gives instructions to the
computer, it’s also known as the Microprocessor.

Q2: What is Control Unit?

Ans.: A Control Unit is a component of Central Processing Unit. It used to bring information
from memory and execute instructions.

Q3: What is Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU)?

Ans.: Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) is a component of processor. It performs mathematical and
logical operations in computer.

Q4: What is Processor Socket or Slot?

Ans.: It’s a place in Motherboard where the Processor is inserted.
