PORTFOLIO IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

PRACTICAL EXAMINATION
Do your answers on a short bond paper.
OUTPUT1. OPPORTUNITY SCREENING GRID. Screen three business ideas that you have
chosen from business opportunities screening activity.
Instructions:
A. Give a weight for each R (or each criterion). The more importance you give to a criterion, the
higher the weight.
B. Rate the quality of each opportunity in relation to the 12 criteria. For the first ten Rs, 5 is the
best score. For the last two Rs (Resources and Risk), the scoring is reversed. Very high
resource requirement means a score of 1, while very low resource requirement means a score
of 5. The more resources needed, the less attractive the opportunity.
C. Multiply the rating for each criterion with the assigned weights to come up with the score.
D. Total the weighted score.
E. Repeat the process for all your listed opportunities.
The opportunities with the highest total scores are likely the best ones for you.

OUTPUT 3:IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PACKAGING.

Instructions:

1. Get your creative juices flowing by using an existing product. Better yet, if you have your
own idea or prototype, think of a unique way of packaging it. To help you out, you may want
to consider any or a combination of the five purposes of packaging. The first purpose, it
provides easy brand identification for the consumers. Second, packaging differentiates
product for its competitors and even from its other brand offerings. Third, packaging
lengthens the lifespan, physically protects, and extends the usefulness of the product.
Fourth, packaging has done become an environmental issue by itself. Recyclability and
biodegradability are now a major concern of the packagers and consumers alike. Fifth, the
packaging must possess its own value proposition for the customers as well as for
enterprise.
2. Be resourceful to find ordinary materials in your house or classroom to be put together as a
‘unique’ packaging for the chosen product. These can be scraps of wrapper, cardboards,
colored papers, foil, ribbons, trimmings. Etc.
3. Take a picture of your work (you can make a collage about the process while you are
preparing for this project.)
4. Write and discuss packaging concept that you have made based on the purposes of
the packaging.
5. Criteria:
Uniqueness- 50%
Creativity- 20%
Resourcefulness- 20%
Functionality- 10%
Al Nourish and GO

In this business, I think Biodegradable food containers and biodegradable paper bags are
more suitable to match my organic product. This is what I thought for people who are in a
hurry and want to take out. As for the packaging it is equipped with a handle for
comfortable carrying and no hassle. For dine in I thought to do is the one in the coconut
shell that will serve as a bowl.
