End Semester Evaluation (ESE) will be conducted ONLINE from 22nd March, 2021.
ESE will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based Online Exam. It will be conducted on Online
Exam Portal (https://myexam.microwebexam.com/) of total 60 marks in 90 Minutes (For
Maths-1 & EGD : 105 Minutes)
There will be total 45 questions (5 questions of 2 marks each, 20 questions of 1.5 marks each and
remaining 20 questions are of 1 marks each) and it is mandatory to attend all the questions
without fail. The system will not allow you to move on to the next question without attending the
current question.
Online END Semester Exam system will not allow the student to go to previous/next question due
to security reasons so each student is advised to select the answer properly and once a student
will click on the "Save and Next" button after that student will not be able to change the selected
answer.
After attempting all 45 questions, it is mandatory to click on the "Submit" button then only your
exam will be considered as completed successfully.
Exam will start sharp at a scheduled time and after 5 minutes from commencement of the exam
system will not allow to login, hence all the students are hereby informed to login 15 minutes
prior to the scheduled time and the exam will end sharp at a scheduled time.
It is mandatory to use Google Chrome browser for appearing from mobile
phone/Desktop/Laptop.
It is mandatory to appear for the Online ESE with Desktop/ Fully Charged laptop/ Mobile Phone
(Android/IOS) with good Internet Connectivity to avoid any technical issues.
Mock Test will be conducted on 20/03/2021, 01.00 PM Onwards.
Student Login Credentials will be available to all the students on their registered mobile no
through SMS. In case if any student's mobile no is not registered/changed and if he/she has not
received SMS or in case of login issues during Mock test then they can write an email in advance to
their respective class coordinator and Head of the department for the same.
If during the exam, a student finds any technical issues related to internet connectivity then
university will not be responsible for the same but when student will re-login then exam will
resume from the same question but no extra time will be provided so students are advised to
appear from the best location of internet connectivity at their home.
Any type of printed/hand written/typed material, additional Mobile phone, or Programmable
calculator, PDA or any other objectionable material which breaches the code of conduct of
university and falls under unfair means is not allowed to carry during examination.
Any student found practicing Un Fair Means activity during online exam using objectionable
material will be punishable under unfair means.
If you are using mobile phone then turn off the notifications and for desktop/laptop do not
minimize exam application window.
There is no negative marking.
FAQs
Login 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam.
If the exam starts at 09:00 AM then students need to refresh the web page after that only Exam
will display in the Active section.
Students will not be able to start the exam after 15 minutes from the commencement of
mentioned time.
Example: - If exam start time is 09:00 AM then the student must start the exam by 09:15 AM. After
that exam will display in the missed section.
Please wait 10 to 30 second after clicking on the start exam to display questions. (System will
create dynamic question paper from the pool of the questions)
If multiple attempt dialogue box display on screen then students are advised to close the browser
and login again. (Note - Students can’t start multiple attempts for a test).
In order to have optimum view of questions which involve Image or Images, assure internet
connectivity should be adequate at your end.
Students are advised to scroll the screen for viewing questions or options if they can't see in a
single screen.
If a student starts an exam from mobile and due to some reason a student will try to login from
another device like Laptop then exam will start working from laptop and at the same time mobile
device where you have started your exam will stop.
Students can't go to next question in mobile, timer will stop in mobile and student can attempt
smoothly in laptop.
System will consider the latest Login device browser.
Question loading speed also depends on availability of good internet connection.
Example: - Students are advised to turn off the internet for more consuming apps during the exam
like social media or maps.
Students are not allowed to go forward and backward during the Exam.
All the questions are required to attempt compulsory.
