“Analysis and Finding”

25
 (4.1) Internship Experience:
Internship is an opportunity for every single university students to do work practically
and physically in an organization. As an intern of The City Bank Ltd I have learnt lots of
things about general banking and customer service sector.
In CBL, they think their interns as a third eye of bank who can handle their clients with
beneficial services.

 (4.2) Training:
In CBL they train their permanent employees more than their interns. Before joining the
internship session CBL calls their new interns in the head office, then sends them to the
customer service department. In the customer service department head of servic
service talks
about the intern’s working activities and provides guidelines.
After joining the internship in the first week the branch manager and supervisor instruct
the intern and each employee from their departments helps to train the intern according
to banking activities.
Besides these, they always monitor their intern’s activities and also provide instruction
via e-mails.
mails. To connect all branch interns with the head office of CBL, the service
department and HR department jointly open Whatsup group for providing
providing daily basis
guidelines and collects information from each of the branch interns.

 (4.3) Job Responsibility:

My work was on handling customer gathering, knowing about their feedbacks,
observing whole working process, monitoring new clients. Beside these
these tasks, I had to
do general banking activities also.
The general banking activities that I did there;
 Opening accounts,
 Cash counting,
 Token delivery,
 At a time handling customers with different product/services,
 Attend meetings.

26
CBL provides us an Excel Survey file to collect customer feedbacks weekly basis and
then we have to mail those data to the CBL Head Office. Here in below I attached the
Excel file demo.

As my internship topic is on CSR activities of CBL, so CSR based detail information I

gathered from face to face conversation from bank, gather information details from CBL
websites and also from their data collection files.

27
 (4.4) Findings:
As of now, the CBL offers
s reliable assistance to the public external confined business
businesses.
Yet the way that the external trade of CBL is widening gradually, however there are
several obstructions throughout this.
this These are given here;
 CBL doesn't have agreeable advanced correspondence gear.
 Inside The City Bank Limited visit guiding projects are not open for the
representatives.
 Planning workplaces isn't sufficient especially for the lower-level
level and mid
mid-level
authority.
 Extraordinarily gigantic records of the City Bank Ltd are not guarantee
guaranteed about
from fire away.
 Now and again the chief impacts on review reports so clients didn't get any
information around
d the particular spots of CBL.
CBL
 Clearing BACH time is limited so it's making the customer baffled. City bank
introduced concentrated BACH clearing
clearing and all branches can't put all the

pioneer.
 In CSR activities CBL is always doing their best but recently they have many
competitor banks so they
they need to provide more efforts on this sector.

As we already know, The City Bank (1983), is first
fi time private industrial banks during
this country and is one of the best bank as far as grasping general banking procedures
by getting rid of old-fashion reallocated banking system and model. Through the request
and functional experience, different suitable regions are investigated for general

circumstance
stance of essential money related activities of CBL is so good and little by little
