This course is intended for the students taking Environmental Management, Protection
and Impact Assessment to determine the different environmental challenges faced by
the environment and natural resources and identify appropriate management schemes
to mitigate the impact of human on the environment. They will also be able to conduct
certain activities for the conduct of Environmental Impact Assessment and determine the
decision for the approval or disapproval of certain projects.

The final grades will correspond to the weighted average scores shown below:
1. Make-up exam/s will only be given when the absence/s incurred is/are excused. No
make-up will be given for missed quizzes.
2. Excuse from classes will only be honored if a VALID EXCUSE SLIP coming from the
institute is presented. No other form of excuses will be entertained. Excused absence is
still considered as absence. In case of health issue or concern, a MEDICAL
CERTIFICATE signed by a medical practitioner presented one to three days to the
instructor after the student’s absence will be honored.
3. For unexcused absence when an activity/exercise is performed in class, the student will
automatically earn a score of zero for the particular activity/exercise performed during
that time. The student however still needs to perform the activity/exercise and submit the
required paperwork.
4. Course requirements submitted beyond the deadline will be given a score of zero. There
should be a SOFT COPY and a HARD COPY submitted when applicable.
5. If not all the course requirements were satisfied but the class standing is still >60% a
grade of Incomplete will be given until such time that all the requirements have been
satisfied.
6. A grade of five (5) will be given to student/s who is/are caught cheating in examinations
and quizzes.
7. Student who earned three (3) consecutive or five (5) inconsecutive absences will be
automatically dropped.
8. Dropping must be done before midterm examination; otherwise a failing grade will be
incurred.
