What does the picture tell us about?

Explain with your own view about those pictures.


PICTURE 1.

In the picture you can see a patient who is


doing fillings on his teeth. At the top of the
patient's head there is a doctor who is
performing a patching procedure. And on
the patient's left, there is a dental assistant
holding a saliva ejector and a water air
syringe.
PICTURE 2

In the picture, a small child patient is being


examined for his maxillary teeth by a doctor using
a mirror and sonde. And on the patient's left
there is a dental assistant who is watching and
waiting for instructions from the doctor to take
the tool that will be used next.
PICTURE 3.

The yellow trash can at the clinic has a special function,


namely only to dispose of waste in the form of infectious
and pathological waste. Such as syringes, extracted teeth,
cotton pellets, gauze contaminated with blood. Etc.
PICTURE 4

In the picture there are 5 students conducting


counseling about dental and oral hygiene in
Karang Anyar village with the aim that the
villagers there better understand how to brush
their teeth properly and care about dental and
oral hygiene and health.

The picture shows that they are in a nursing home


that contains the elderly. They seem very happy to
meet their peers. One grandmother comforted her
friend in a wheelchair to keep her spirit alive.
PICTURE 6

The way to read the results of the X-ray is that the


result is black, which is called radiolucent which is
soft tissue because the X-ray is translucent. And the
result is white is called radiopaque in the form of
hard tissue like teeth. From the X-ray image, it can be
seen that one tooth is missing.
PICTURE 7

Seen in the picture there is a small child


patient being checked by a dentist. She was
checked whether there is a hole in the tooth or
not. The dentist use a mirror and a flashlight to
make it clear. And the doctor uses a special tool
in the eye to see it clearly.
PICTURE 8

In the picture there is a patient who is doing a


nurse in a dental clinic. On the patient's right,
there is a doctor who is preparing the
patient's teeth using a handpiece. And on the
right side of the patient, there is a dental
assistant who is holding the saliva ejector in
the patient's mouth to suck out excess saliva
during the procedure.
