1) The rubric provides criteria to evaluate lesson plans, including purpose and goals, objectives, procedures, closure, and assessment. 2) An exemplary lesson plan clearly lists developmentally appropriate concepts and assumptions, has observable and measurable objectives addressing multiple domains across different reasoning levels, introduces the lesson in a logical and engaging way, and includes procedures for closing and transitioning to the next activity while articulating key points. 3) An acceptable lesson plan mostly meets the criteria but concepts and assumptions may not always be clear, objectives address some but not all domains and levels, and key points are included but poorly articulated.
