1. A vision statement conveys the institution's desire to succeed. What is your school's vision statement
and how can you help your school achieve it?

a. PCC VISION STATEMENT: Pines City Colleges envisions itself as a Center of Excellence in the health
professions education co-creating equitable societal health.

b. I can help the school achieve its vision statement by doing my best; to be a good example in every
student who exemplifies the Pines City Colleges institution's legacy of excellent education.

2. A mission statement is a short explanation of the institution's purpose and intention for existence.
State your school's mission and explain how you can contribute to its success.

a. PCC MISSION STATEMENT: Pines City Colleges commits to provide holistic quality education,
transformative interprofessional community engagement and evidence-based clinical practice to
compassionate lifelong learners who are responsive to current and emerging local and global health
needs.

b. I can contribute to the success of the school's mission statement by honing and improving my
personal skills and knowledge to the very best of my capabilities, and by improving my holistic formation
with the help of the school.

3. A value statement is composed of core principles that focus on the institution and its culture. List
down the core values of your school and explain how you will imbibe these institutional core values.

a. PCC CORE VALUES: (P.I.N.E.S.) P- Passion, I- Integrity, N- Nurturance, E- Excellence and S- Service.

b. I will imbibe these core values in my life by incorporating it in my characteristic, decision making, and
problem solving.

4. Ponder on the vision, mission, core values, and objectives of the College of Medical Laboratory
Science of your school. How will these statements help you become a successful scientist?

a. The school's vision, mission, core values, and objectives will help me become a successful scientist. It
will guide me through every step and decision that I make. However, this will lead me to the right path.

while the vision pertains to the desired end of an academic institution. It is usually a one-
sentence statement that describes the distinct and motivating long-term desired transformation
resulting from institutional programs.

the rest of the class for 5 minutes.
a. What values are distinctive to our educational institution?
b. What value should be the direction of the management of the institution?
