DGN Staging 66+800 MNB - R1

The document describes the design of pipe staging for casting an abutment cap. Pipe staging will be designed using ISMC 75 and ISMB 100 sections as per Indian codes for steel structures, construction, and temporary works. Analysis of the pipe staging is performed using STAAD to check forces and support reactions. The design is found to be adequate with load factors applied.

DESIGN OF PIPE STAGING

(For Casting of Abutment Cap)

INTRODUCTION

The following document deals with the design of pipe staging for casting of Abutment Cap.

The density of green concrete is taken as 2.6t/m3.

The design has been generally done by provisions stipulated in following codes.

1 IS:800-1984 (Code of Practice for General Construction in Steel)

2 IS:1161-1998 (Steel Tubes for Structural Purpose)
