Safety Notes
– The suggested circuits do not imply any technical liability for the system on the part of Rexroth.
– Changing parameters or loading (flashing) software onto BODAS controller RC may only be performed by trained and experi-
enced specialists who are suitably familiarized with the used components as well as the complete system.
– When connection the controller RC with the PC, use only the BODAS-service connection cable. The BB-3 connection cable
must not be used. Wrong connection cables or mismatched wiring can lead to destruction of the PC interface.
– The controller must be switched off when connecting or disconnecting the BODAS-service connection cable.
– Work on the PC with BODAS-design in combination with a controller in a machine or vehicle may only be performed while com-
missioning the machine or during service work.
Appropriate safety measures against dangers caused by unexpected operational states must be provided. Make certain that no
persons are present in the danger zone of the machine.
The use of BODAS-design in the series/production working condition of the machine is not permitted.
– To switch off the system in emergencies, the power supply to the electronics must be disconnected with a safety switch.
– When using the BODAS-design software download function, the drive unit (e.g. diesel) must be switched off while transferring
data to the BODAS controller!
– Copying, translation and distribution of Rexroth software is prohibited under copyright law.
– The general terms for the supply of goods and services of the Bosch Rexroth AG as well as the supplementary shipping terms
for BODAS-service software are valid.
– The safety measures provided in RE 95200, RE 95201, RE 95202 and RE 95203 are to be observed.
– The BODAS-service connection cable must be disposed of by the customer in a professional manner.
– A sufficiently large distance to radio systems must be maintained.
– All connectors must be unplugged from the electronics during electrical welding and painting operations.
