Firmware Update Instructions

1. Download the FW_update.FUP firmware update file and place it in the root directory (not
in any folder) of a USB flash drive.
2. On the Accent Module, press and hold the B1, B2 and B3 buttons simultaneously while
powering on the unit.
3. The unit will enter firmware update mode, and show the following message on the
display: Please insert USB drive!
4. Connect the USB flash drive with the firmware update file to the USB port on the rear
panel of the Accent Module.
5. The firmware will begin updating automatically. The display will show Updating and the
percentage complete while the update is in progress.
Note: Do not unplug or power off the Accent Module, or remove the USB flash drive,
while the update is in progress. Doing so may damage your USB drive.
6. Allow the update process to complete. When the update is complete, the display will
show the following message: Update Successful! Please Reset!
7. Reset the Accent Module by powering it off and then back on to finalize the update.
Congratulations—your Accent Module is now using the latest firmware!
