Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) - Arvind Weblogic services Start and Stop

Purpose
To start and stop the weblogic service in background.

Steps to stop weblogic services :


1. Login to 10.10.10.148

2. Stop opmn services in below path from cmd prompt

C:\Oracle\Middleware\Asinst1\bin

Execute :

To check status : opmnctl.bat status –l

To stop servies : opmnctl.bat stopall

3. Login to weblogic console using the credentials provided.

4. Stop managed servers WLS_FORMS, WLS_REPORTS from weblogic console

Note : Managed servers state should be in shutdown.

5. Open : services.msc

Right click on the highlighted service names and stop.

Steps to start weblogic services :


1. If the machine is rebooted, Adminserver and nodemanager will be started post booting.

If the machine is not rebooted need to start the Adminserver and nodemanager from service.msc

Right click on the selected services and click on start.

2. Start managed servers WLS_FORMS, WLS_REPORTS from weblogic console.

Check to see all the servers state is in Running state.

3. Start opmn services in below path from cmd prompt

C:\Oracle\Middleware\Asinst1\bin

Execute : opmnctl.bat startall

Check status of opmn services using : opmnctl.bat status -l
