1. COURSES:
TheCollegeprovides4-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. & B.Sc. B.Ed. Course for the
academic session 2021-22 under Self-Financing Mode.
2. SANCTIONED STRENGTH :
B.A. B.Ed. - 50 Seats
B.Sc. B.Ed. - 50 Seats (30 in PCM Group & 20 in CBZ Group)

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:


As per NCTE Guide Line-2019(Govt. of India Gazette No.-118, April 02, 2019),
The applicants must have passed +2 Arts/Science or Equivalent
Examinationssecuring at least 50% of marks in aggregate without extra optional.

stands for Biology or Bio-technology.


A candidate has to apply his application form online on or before the scheduled
date which is mentioned in the Common Prospectus 2021-22. A candidate, willing
to apply for both the courses i.e. B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed., has to apply
separately with requisite amount of application fee. A +2 Science candidate can
also applyfor B.A. B. Ed. Course. Further, Science candidate can avail both the
options i.e., PCM & PCB by separate application form.

Candidates are advised to Visit the college website for Common Prospectus 2021-22
before applying online application.
4. HOW TO APPLY:
A candidate should read the Common Prospectus 2021-22 available in the
college website thoroughly and ensure about the norms of online admission
before applying online and paying of application fee.
A candidate should make a Bank Draft in favour of The Principal, M.P.C.
Autonomous College, Takatpur, Baripada , Payable at Baripada
A candidate has to open the link for Online Application in the college
website www.mpcautocollege.org.in and apply online.
A candidate has to upload all the requisite documents along with the scanned
copy of Bank Draft.

A candidate has to take a print out of the Application Form and send the
same with the original Bank Draft in the following address by Registered
Post or Speed Post only (no application shall be received in the
college by hand).

Note : If a candidate wants to apply for both B.Sc. B.Ed. (PCM & CBZ) & B.A. B.Ed. then
a single draft of the total amount (for BA B Ed Rs 500/-, for BSc BEd (PCM) Rs 500/-,
for BSc BEd (CBZ) Rs 500/-) should be attached.

5. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The selection will be made on the basis of marksobtained bythe +2 Science/Arts
Examination without Extra Optional if any.
Computation of Marks in case of students passing from ICSE, CBSE & Other
Boards

y= Total full marks ( if 4 subjects then y=400, if 5 subjects then y=500 or y may be
800/1000 as of other boards)

3-year diploma students are allowed only to apply for BA, B Ed and B Sc B Ed
(PCM)

Percentage of marks for 3-year Diploma students is calculated considering the


marks secured in first and second semester only.

Weightage for SPORTS is given only when the concerned certificate is given by
the appropriate authority and counter signed by Commissioner-cum-Secretary,
Sports and Youth Services, Govt. of Odisha or Director of Sports and Youth
Services, Govt. of Odisha or Director, Secondary Education Odisha as per G.O.
12471/HE, dtd 06.06.2014.

Scout and Guide certificates are not valid for claim of weightage under Rovers
and Rangers.
Weightage mark is calculated only from the mark secured in 12th class.

Maximum 10% weightage marks shall be provided to an applicant.

In case of tie under selection criteria, admission to Integrated BA B. Ed,


preference will be given to the applicant having higher marks secured in English
in 12th Board Examination. If English marks are tied, marks secured in MIL
should be taken into consideration.

In case of tie under selection criteria, admission to Integrated BSc B. Ed (PCM)
and Integrated BSc B. Ed (CBZ) preference will be given to the applicant having
higher of marks secured in English in 12th Board Examination. If English marks
are tied, marks secured in Chemistry should be taken into consideration.

6. RESERVATION:

Scheduled Caste [SC] &Scheduled Tribe [ST]


a) SC-16.25% of the sanctioned strength of each course shall be reserved for SC
applicants [G.O. 11710/HE, Dtd.:01/06/2015]
b) ST-22.5% of the sanctioned strength ofeachcourseshall be reserved for ST
applicants [G.O. 11710/HE, Dtd.:01/06/2015]
c) The reserved seats are not interchangeable between SC &ST.
d) SC/ST applicants selected for admission on their merit shall not be counted
against reservedseats.
e) However any modification made by the Government in the reservation policy
will be followed duringadmission.

Persons with Disability 5%of sanctioned seats shall be reserved for PwD students with
(PwD) extent of disability not below 40% (Blind and Low Vision, Hard of
Hearing, Locomotors Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy
Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and MuscularDystrophy,
Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability and
Mental Illness). [G.O. 10161/HE, Dtd.: 07/04/2018]
Ex-Serviceman [ESM], 1%of the sanctioned seats shall be reserved for Self/ Children/ Wife/
Serving Defense Husband/ of Ex-Serviceman, Serving Defence Personnel and
Personnel [SDP], Children of Martyrs. [G.O. 10161/HE, Dtd.: 07/04/2018]

7. Weightage
Number of seats in each stream, filled up by the applicants with weightage, shall not
exceed 10% of the sanctioned strength. This 10% of seats shall be proportionately
distributed among all categories of applicants. An applicant, who is selected with
weightage and taken admission, shall continue to remain in this 10% bracket, even if
cut-off mark is reduced in subsequent selections. Maximum 10% weightage mark
shall be provided to anapplicant .

8.1 NCC

a) Applicants holding B Certificate shall be given weightage of additional 5% of


marks over and above the aggregate marks secured at the Higher Secondary (+2)
or Equivalents examination.
b) Applicants who have represented the State or the Central School/Sainik School at
the All India level NCC Camps / Courses / Activities shall be given weightage of
additional 3%of marks over and above the aggregate marks secured at the Higher
Secondary (+2) or Equivalentsexamination.

8.2 NSS
a) Applicants who have represented the Country at International level shall be given
direct admission.
b) Applicants who have represented the state at National Level Camp shall be given
Weightage of additional 5%of marks over and above the aggregate marks secured
at the CHSE / Equivalentexamination.
c) Applicants who have represented the inter State Category Camp shall be given
Weightage of additional 3%of marks over and above the aggregate marks secured
at the CHSE/Equivalent examination.
d) Applicants who have got the best NSS Volunteer award in University level shall
be given Weightage of additional 2%of mark over and above the aggregate marks
secured in CHSE/Equivalentexamination

8.3 Rover &Ranger

a) Rover & Ranger possessing and producing the original certificate signed by the
President of India shall be given weightage of additional 5% of marks over and
above the aggregate marks secured at the Higher Secondary
(+2)/Equivalentexamination.
b) Rover & Ranger possessing and producing the original certificate signed by the
Governor/ PATRON/ President of the State association shall be given weightage
of additional 2% of marks over and above the aggregate marks secured at the
Higher Secondary (+2)/Equivalent examination.

8.4 Sports & Games


a) Applicants who have represented the country at international level shall be given
direct admission.
b) Applicants who have represented the state at national level shall be given
weightage of additional 10%of marks over and above the aggregate marks
secured at the Higher Secondary (+2)/Equivalentexamination.
c) Applicants who have represented the school at the inter-State School Sports Meet
level shall be given weightage of additional 5%of marks over and above the
aggregate marks secured at the Higher Secondary (+2)/Equivalentexamination.

N.B: There will be no validity limit for NCC/ NSS/ Scouts/ Sports certificates.

9 RESERVATION:
The seats will be reserved as per the existing State Government Rules for admission.

*The Course Fee shall in no case be refunded. However, the course fee may be refunded
after deduction of processing charge of 1000/- if the candidate wishes to leave the course
on or before the last date of admission as prescribed by the Government. After the last
date of admission the course fee is not refundable.

12 PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST:

A) NO INTIMATION LETTERS WILL BE SENT TO THE CANDIDATES.

B) Merit List will be displayed in the College Notice Board andCollege website-
www.mpcautocollege.org.in
C) Selected Candidates shall be intimated through Bulk SMS.

The applicants are advised to visit the College Website for selection list during the
Admission schedule time.

13 ADMISSION :
The selected / wait-listed candidates for admission are required tocome personally to
the college with required documents and fees for admission on the date and time
specified in the Selection List. They are required to deposit the admission fee in cash
in the collection counter and the course fee (Rs.35,000/-) in the shape of Bank Draft
signed by the candidate on its back side to be drawn in favourof The principal,
M.P.C. Autonomous College, Takhatpur, Baripada,payable at Baripada. If a
selected student in the merit list fails to come on the date of admission his
candidature will be cancelled and he/she will not be allowed to take admission in
future.
14 DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED / SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION :
i. Original Mark Sheet of +2 / equivalent examinations with xerox copy.
ii. Original High School Certificate with xerox copy for verification of date of
birth
iii. Original College leaving Certificate (CLC) from the institution last attended
iv. Original Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended
v. Original Migration Certificate for student passing the qualifying examination
from other than the CHSE, Odisha
vi. Original Certificates with Xerox copies in support of claim for
reservation/weightage, if applicable

a) Schedule Tribe / Schedule Caste Certificates from Revenue Officer not below rank
of Tahsildar / Additional Tahsildar. For ST applicant, her/his
Certificate may be taken into consideration. Land Passbook authenticated by the
Tahsildar / Additional Tahsildar may also be taken as a proof of Caste Certificate
in absence of Caste Certificate. ( NO Caste Certificate other than Revenue Officer
not below the rank of Tahsildar / AdditioanalTahsilar shall be considered)
