PDB REPLACING THE DRIVE BELT ON A

UNPLUG THE WINDER FROM THE MAINS SUPPLY

F1 Spindle Gear M Base Plate E2 Bobbin Gear J1 Motor Pulley
F On/Off Switch K Drive Belt
Proceed as follows:- G Slot for fixing clamp L Motor
1. Unplug the winder from mains supply. H Yarn Guide M Base Plate
2. Remove Bobbin (C) Proceed as follows:-
3. Remove Yarn Guide (B) (125g Winder only) 1. Unplug the winder from mains supply.
4. Using a screwdriver remove the Circlip (G1) from the spindle (H1) 2. Remove Bobbin (C)
5. Lift off the Winder arm (E1) 3. Remove the cotter pin from the Bobbin Gear (E2) and remove
6. Release the winder from the table, remove the Clamp (A) gear, lift off Bobbin Holder (E).
7. Remove the 4 screws, one from each corner of the Base Plate (M) 4. Using a 4mm. Allen key remove the cap head screw from the
8. Lift off the Motor Box (D). Do NOT remove the switch (F) top of Spindle (H1).
9. Fit new Drive Belt (K) round Motor Pulley (J1) and Drive Pulley (I1) 5. Lift off the Metal Winder arm (E1), make note of the
10. Replace Motor Box (D), secure with screws, Fit Winder Arm (E1) direction it is pointing, as it must be refitted the same way round.

(G1) 7. Release the winder from the table, remove the Clamp(A)
F1 G1 8. Remove the 4 screws one from each corner of the Base Plate
DO NOT OIL (M)
D 9. Lift off the Motor Box (D). Do NOT remove the switch (F)
I1 10. Fit new Drive Belt (K) round Motor Pulley (J1) and Drive Pulley
(I1)
11. Replace Motor Box (D) and secure with screws, replace Bobbin
J1 Guide (J), Fit Metal Winder Arm (E1) making sure it is the correct
way round and secure with cap head screw, replace Bobbin Holder
(E), fit Bobbin Gear (E2) and secure with cotter pin.
