Pursuant to Section 43 of Article IV of the Republic Act No. 9165 otherwise known as the
Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the Department of Education (DepEd), through
the Bureau of Learner Support Services (BLSS), reiterates its support in Strengthening the
National Drug Education Program (NDEP) in school. The NDEP is a comprehensive
educational program that provides for a holistic to the problem of drug abuse.
