Global flows have a large impact on the global south by supporting growth and raising productivity. Data flows in particular amplify this effect by broadening participation and creating more efficient markets. The gap between rural and urban areas is affected by globalization, as rural areas typically have lower economic productivity, higher poverty, and lower quality infrastructure compared to urban areas. Urbanization and the rise of global cities significantly impact the agricultural sector by reducing available land for farming as rural areas become more urbanized, negatively affecting farmers' jobs and ability to produce crops.

1. What is the impact of global flows on the global south?

- Global flows has a large impact on the global south because it supports growth by raising
productivity, and data flows are amplifying this effect by broadening participation and creating
more efficient markets. Global flows play a larger role in determining the fate of nations,
companies, and individuals to be unconnected is to fall behind.

2. Examine the gap between rural and urban areas across the globe. How
is the gap affected by globalization?
- The gap between rural and urban areas can be seen in the lower productivity of economic
activities, higher poverty levels and lower quality infrastructure and services in rural areas.
Typical rural areas have a low population density and small settlements. Agricultural areas are
commonly rural, as are other types of areas such as forests. Different countries have varying
definitions of rural for statis tical and administrative purposes.

3. What do you think is the impact of urbanization and the rise of global
city on the agricultural sector?
- Urbanization has a large impact on agricultural sector because I was said on last question rural
and urban difference can be seen in the lower productivity of economic activities if they make
rural areas become urban the farmers will be the one affected because the land where they plant
their crops will be build some buildings on it and it will affects their jobs not just their jobs but
also their product that they’re producing.
