After one 1 hour of lecture, participants will be
able to: Parents with Barangay Powerpoint Presentation, Group Sharing - Exchange ideas/ strategies to prevent PREVENTION OF INFLUENZA 10 minutes children ages Dampas Handouts/ Leaflets influenza 0 - 12 years Basketball ● Have a rest and drink plenty of old Court fluids - staying hydrated may boost a particular immune response to enable your body to better fight the viruses. ● Get a flu vaccine every year - Flu shots are injectable influenza vaccines given with a needle. They work by helping our bodies produce antibodies that provide protection against infection with the virus strains in the vaccine. ● Proper Handwashing - Use soap and water and scrub for at least 20 seconds. Rinse well and dry with a clean towel or air dry. ● Be conscious of good health habits - Stay as healthy as possible to keep up your immune system. Eat a balanced diet, drink fluids, get plenty of sleep and be physically active. ● Keep a clean environment - It might be time to step up your game with regard to keeping frequently- touched surfaces clean at home, school and work. Flu virus can live for up to 48 hours on surfaces, so be aware of germs when you’re touching surfaces in public.
