Course Objectives:

The main objective of this course is to familiarize the students with financial statement analysis
techniques and company valuation procedures. Upon completion of this course, the incumbents are
expected to understand the procedures how to analyse the components of firms’ major financial
statements such as income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement etc. Further, the students will be
able to determine the value of public and private companies based on different valuation techniques. By
covering materials from two books of the CFA program, this course will facilitate the students who are
interested to pursue CFA in future.
