SECTION 2
4 FIELD ACTIVITIES RENDERED OR DONE BY IN THE HUMAN RESOURCE
UNIT
The intern was deployed in the department of Human Resource at organization as an HR
Assistant and was given number of tasks to perform as follows registration of interns and
managing them, arranging and organizing intern documents according to their respective
departments, issuing intern identity cards, entering data into the company computerized
system etc.
4.1Orientation
On 3rd September 2020, we toured around premises at their Head Quarters, Intern
supervisors and other employees were introduced, different departments. Guidance on
internship program. Gave us Time table to follow, guidance on behaviors during the
internship period, rules and regulations of MI&CC their Background, orientation was
good since it broaden our minds as interns.
Filing and arranging documents in their respective right positions, according to dates,
month, and year. Some of those documents includes; the receipts, invoices for MI&CC
and, quotations, employees attendance, payroll, and others.
The intern physically attended, learnt and participated in the training about business
skills. Covering different business aspect, such as, how to set up a business without
money or capital, marketing skills, public relation/customer care, management, how to
procure, business research, communication skills, and analytical skills.
19
4.7 Attended training on Job Interview approaches.
During the training, the intern was asked some of the most common interview questions.
in an open interview panel chaired by his field supervisor and later on he was been
guided with some of the appropriate answers or approaches to those questions. Of what
interviewers do look at. He also got an opportunity to watch some of those common
interview questions and answers from the presentation.
Sorting is an ideal solution that helps to manage and organize documents in a work
place. The intern organized files and other staff documents like , appointment letters,
employment contract, acceptance letters by the employees, academic documents, pay
slips among others according to their order of numbers, dates, months and year, placed
all the documents where they are supposed to be and recorded them in the register. These
files included personal files of the staff, the internship applications file, among others.
For example the intern participated in the shelving of files according to the numerical
format to ease file retrieval and thus saves time in retrieving all needed employee
information thus enabled the intern to learn how to sort and shelve files in a ministry
setting during field attachment.
20
properly, placing it to the head of HR for the approval, input it in the leave register after
getting approval and put it to the employee personal file.
Here I had to prepare a list of the all employees mentioning that how many days an
individual employee was present for work and was leave during the whole month.
Writing different types of official notice according to the instruction of the Management
and getting sign of them was one of my regular activities.
Prepare and regular update of total staff report project basis and department basis.
4.10.4: budgeting.
By the aid of tally software, the intern was tasked with the duties and responsibilities of
creating and entering the company’s budget into the system. Where the intern got all the
relevant information from the different department.
The field supervisor brought a printed company’s bank statements from three of its
bankers. My major task was to enter those transaction dates on the bank statement that
matches with what was in the Ministry book into the bank date column in the
organizations’ tally system and compared the two that is to say the bank balance and the
book balance if they are equal.
21
deductions like taxes and the taxes on allowances are deducted depending on the salary
scale of an employee ranging from U1-U8 in order to come up with the total amount to
be paid to each member of staff. Computing the staff allowances enabled the intern to
compare the previous allowances to the current amount to be issued out to the employees
and thus analysis of staff allowances fostered easy accountability to MI&CC.
As an internee, I was tasked to first categories the different items according to their
different groups. Where I started with categorizing assets into current and non current,
imported the assets with their respective balances into excel sheet and obtained their
totals. Like wise for liabilities. And added their totals to equity to get total liabilities and
equity. And I also accounted for depreciation or wear and tears using straight line
method. The intern also grouped expenses and Revenues separately and imported them to
excel sheet and got their respective totals.
As an internee, I attended a two days training in auditing. The training was on the roles of
an auditor, steps in planning before auditing and the process of auditing.
The intern physically attended, learnt and participated in the trainings. And on the third
day of the training, he was asked to make a presentation and later on make a report to the
top manager of what happened. Therefore, the training helped him in the presentation and
in making a report by sorting out the less importance ideals and report what was crucial.
Succession planning.
22
4.10.10: HR planning ensures that institution have required number of employees and
competencies it needs in order to achieve its mandate and also in reducing redundant
positions.
Plan for capacity development and for employees’ motivation, rewards and entitlement
(Salary, terminal benefits and other incentives)
Internal Recruitment:
Internal recruitment practice is most usual. The top level management refers a person
and place them in a specified department, in that case proper procedure of recruitment are
almost ignored.
Vacant created, Provide advertisement, Receiving required documents , CVs, ID, degree,
Short listing, deal with appeals of candidates, Arrange written exam, and Arrange
interview board, List the topers, and Select the qualified candidate for the job to
personnel administration on a daily basis (staff utilization, appraisal, benefit and
compensation, retention, performance evaluation system , etc.).
23

leaves, holidays, medical insurance, and horizontal promotion for employees.
24
Efficient Capacity development practices in organization include;

5.4 Succession planning refers to strategy which helps or supports the public institutions
to address HR issues, such as: Plan for succession after retirement, Plan for overcoming
potential skills shortage and internal competency gaps, Plan for succession of key and
leadership positions.
25
Checking records of employee– with 100 staff in company, located at district level,
sector level and cell level, there are regularly big works to ensure they were up-to-date in
HR Department
Making salary statement at the end of every month: Here I had to prepare a list of the
all employees mentioning that how many days an individual employee was present for
work and was leave during the whole month.
Writing letters & Notices: Writing different types of official notice according to the
instruction of the Management and getting sign of them was one of my regular activities.
26
SECTION3
Sometimes the internet would be very slow and this greatly slowed down the emailing
process especially when the intern had to send emails to the Auditors, PHRO. The
continuous interruptions proved a big challenge to the organization as this affected online
activities like organizational communication through staff electronic mails and execution
of other activities. The slow internet made it hard for the intern to carry out research and
thus this limited the learning ability of the intern during field attachment. This was solved
when the intern resorted to using the personal phone in order to access the internet for
research purposes.
The company faces a problem of inefficient time management, this is because they faced
with very many cases to work upon and these cases may all be needed to be heard at the
same days.
When running a law firm, you act as a lawyer and at the same time as a business person
so when you add up all that it is always difficult to balance.
27
Keeping a client happy is very difficult, this is so because a lawyer at any time looses the
case and this makes a client loose interest in the firm, it is seen as a failure.
Tracking where the clients come from is very challenging, because incase a business
wants to make a marketing budget where it makes the most sense, but without good
consistent data on where that is, it’s hard to make the right choices.
Anticipate and avoid conflicts of interest for example representing two opposing interests
at home.
Policies and procedures; as the company changes, even their policies and procedure
change which affect hiring practices, diplomacy action and health and safety. So in many
cases the task of updating policies and procedure it is the work of the human resource.
Training and development; HR trainers provide orientation for new employees, helping in
improving employee skill sets.
HR sustains a well qualified work force and enhancing the capabilities of workers.
Clients have failed to work on their cases since the lockdown happened when some
employees had some cases to work on therefore work could be extended to certain dates.
28
Days spent in the field is very little since the workers are few there the experience i got is
not as much as i expected leading to dormancy at the work place.
Due to covid 19 there is little socializing with the clients or even the people in the
community due curfew time, so our company does not get enough time to associate with
the clients.
Reduce on the amount of money asked by the company from its customers to work on
their clients, this will attract many people toward the company even the low income
earners so that their problems can be solved in time and cheaply. This teaches me on how
to handle my own business in every situation.
Use of video conferencing with able clients so that business has to continue working and
progressing in this pandemic new normal.
Always take time to draft questionnaires and give them out to the customers all over
even the people in the community, and these questionnaires should include questions like
what challenges have you found with our company?, area that you would like us to
improve and why?. These questions if they are evaluated and assessed they help the
company to progress.
Try as much as possible to get details from their clients, like getting contacts so that it is
easy to track them down and associate with them and see how they coped with the
situation,
Putting in place many branches even in deep villages so that every one can easily access
them to hear out their problems.
Meeting new people; although it may sound strange to consider meeting new people
while living through this pandemic, it is easier than you expect to network while working
home.
Anticipate your clients current and future needs; the clients and contacts are being faced
with demands, challenges and even opportunities they may never have anticipated. As
they focus on jumping into action to respond to those changes, they run the risk of
suffering the negative consequences of misunderstanding.
29
Remember that the relationships are key; the primary way to develop the know like and
trust factories to create and nurture strong relationships. Reach out to friends, clients,
colleagues for the soul purpose of checking and listening to their stories of success.
5.6.8: How i will successfully practice my profession in post covid 19 pandemic new
normal.
I will ensure sanitizing the my hands properly or wash my hands with clean water and
soap properly and dry them with a clean towel, so that i can reduce on the risky of
contracting covid 19, after i will start my work but i will make sure i do it regularly and
also sanitizing things the laptop and the table to kill off germs.
I will ensure social distancing from every person at the company and the people that
might come to the company like clients that may be in need of our services, in order not
to get in contact with the different people.
I will ensure putting on a recommended mask and very put on all the time in order to
avoid contamination with the might be infected person that i may not know at that time
since the sign and symptoms some times take long to occur physically.
Incase of any suspected person at the work place, as a student who wishes the company
to succeed in future, i make sure i inform the healthy team responsible by calling the
number so that the person is taken for treatment. And as a way of staying safe incase
there is a covid patient, i advice the rest of my workmates to test for covid 19 so that we
stay safe and healthy.
Incase i feel like coughing or sneezing i use my elbow and make sure i don’t do it in
public but instead i move away so that i a void infections.
Avoiding hand shakes since hands touch a lot of things even unknowingly therefore its
best to avoid them, so i great by humbling and bow my head down a little bit.
I was given a role of guiding and directing to compensation and benefits specialists. This
is done by developing compensation plans.
30
A role of building employee- employer relationship through effective employee relations
strategies. An effective employee relations strategy contains specific steps for ensuring
the overall well-being of employees. It also ensures that employees have a safe working
environment.
Organizing of files in different offices since i am a student to see that all documents are
in the right file and right order in all the offices before meetings are held.
Pinning of lists of employees and their tasks to be done every week. This helps all
employees to prepare in time for the in coming work to be done at the company and even
in the field.
Responsible for preparing the salary and bonus issues so that employees are paid
according to their work done, some are given bonuses while others are not. Usually
bonuses are given as a way of appreciating for the good work done and done in time.
Although the organization mission is about ensuring justice but many people practice all
forms of injustice in different parts of Africa, like parents forcing girls into marriage, they
always give them to old men that are rich in exchange for riches. Many people still
follow myth about marriage of girls, like a girl should be married off at 9 years.
The company can now use different techniques when selecting the best person to be
recruited, for example asking a person some questions about their course units to taste
whether he or she can be of benefit to the company.
Incase company is failing to reach its goals for a very long time; it can merge with a
better off company then after it goes back as company.
With the knowledge from fundamental of computer taught from Bugema University,
especially in Microsoft office word and excel the intern used it in entering and keeping
data in to the company’s computer.
In addition, the knowledge from internet I used it in down loading and uploading files,
forms for example other documents.
31
*Daily, monthly and yearly activities
Training of employees
Selecting of employees
Recruiting employees.
Consultant reports
Strengths
Staff trained and with experience and expertise in the work. The company in
collaboration with partners give regular professional trainings to employees and
the induction course is given to newly recruited staff.
Quality work
32
High safety standards
Execellent reputation.
Provision of fully trained workers to different groups to clients, like house maids,
6.5 Weaknesses
Insufficient staff, the organization has only 50employees which is lower compared to
overall company size, there is a huge gap of employees regarding the existing staff
compared to expected staff. This affects customer service due to stress and work overload
imparted on to the employees. It also causes delays in the assignments and duties
assigned to the staff members.
Lack of sufficient work place: at MI&CC headquarters’ offices are overcrowded and may
affect employee’s life and can promote low level of productivity in the work.
*6.6 Opportunities
Opportunities refer to positive external conditions at the organization that you don’t
control, but can plan on taking advantage of,
New technology
Government contracts
Certifications.
Training
Employee development.
Client leveraging
Professional development and career advancement
33
Platform and bench strength in your practice area.
6.7 Threats
Lack of Socio economic infrastructures in the District and this causes problems in
staff retaining.
Changing regulatios
Supplier bankruptcy
Competition
This activity involved attending of workshop for example I attended the work shop of
VHT (village health team), I got to interact with the various people from different
villages that form Nansana. During these workshops they also provided refreshments.
This involved writing of the receipt like birth certificate and death certificate, writing
licenses for market vendors in Nansana market, getting involved in the auditing process,
since this was my first time I enjoyed it.
34
My supervisor gave me guidance and was very concerned about my learning and
provided me with all necessary materials that I needed to make that my training very
successfully ,for example she gave me the budget estimates , she introduced me to the
CFO of Nansana district and the auditors of the district among others.
6.9.4: Good working local environment which was conducive for someone to do
the activities . It was free from air and noise pollution this made me to enjoy the work
that was assigned unto me by my supervisor without distractions.
6.9.5: Attending meeting of the communities; These included the budget meeting
were the budget estimates were discussed by the village members to come up with
resolutions .refreshments and food were provided ,I was introduced to various leaders at
the different communities including the chairman, CDO, SAS etc. for recognition .this
also made my internship enjoyable
6.9.6: Accessibility to the village facilities and property .I was allowed to have
access to the local peoples property like the agriculture plantations where I picked fruits
like mangoes which provided lunch to me ,various offices like CDO, chairman, among
others made me fill comfortable at the work place.
I liked the way I was treated at the organization member and my supervisor, treated with
respect and gratitude yet I thought I was just a student under training.
I felt good, happy and comfortable when I managed to complete the tasks I was assigned
to. This is so because I felt I will never be a failure in the duties assigned to me in my
future career. Moreover the duties assigned to me where within my working abilities and
I liked and benefited in serving with the professional people like Human Resource
Managers in the organization. This is because they gave me career guidance in relation to
35
6.9.6: Challenges I faced by my human resource department in discharging its duties
and support the company.
6.9.7: Time management
On few occasions where getting to the field sites was not in time due traffic jams. When
traveling has sometimes resulted into inability to finish up tasks given and also finishing
up task given late before living the field this has made me in most cases to reach home
late. However, I mitigated this by ensuring waking up as early as 6 am in order to bit the
traffic jams and reach work place early enough.
On some occasions when the weather was terribly inconveniencing especially during
traveling when it is raining since most of the times it was by the use of motor bike and
taxes where one can easily be forced to get out of tax especially when one of the
passengers is getting out. Hence making the intern papers to get wet before reaching
work place. I manage this throughout my attachment period by carrying rain coat along
when I was going to the place of work.
Financially, as an internee, I was affected since the organization and the university does
not provide financial support. However, I managed by doing some causal work outside
over the weekends and on public holidays which earned me some amount of money and
that did not stop me from going on with my training much as it was challenging.
Sometimes, it was hard to interact and communicate effectively with other clients. This
was mainly due to language barriers most of the clients used languages which I was not
able to speak as well as understand and whenever I speak in English most of them also do
not understand however I managed this by always calling for help from my co-workers to
help in the translations.
36
During others days I was unable to complete assigned tasks especially online tasks, filling
returns and others because of instability in internet connections. In addition to that, there
was also a challenge of only few of the office computers access internet which has to
some extent delays me from completing my assigned tasks that requires the use of
internet once if the few connected are being occupied.
7.2 Limited facilities to use; for example computers, printers, photocopying machines to
help in computerized accounting and this delayed the daily work activities like writing of
payment vouchers which had to be photocopied, preparing final accounts among others.
The organization couldn’t provide the computers except through the donors. However my
supervisor had a personal computer and flash which we could use to do some activities
and this to a smaller extend tried to solve the challenge
7.3 A lot of concentration; This was needed in undertaking financial computations and
requires when one is sober so as to come up with right figures and give true financial
information needed by the users to make informed decisions. Serious calculations are
involved. However as the attachment moved I got used to the activities and my pace in
writing receipts , balancing books of accounts at the office increased.
7.4 High transport cost; due to longer distance from home to the work place for
example I had to spend 4,000 which were costly for a student who doesn’t have a
sustainable financial base. However some handouts from my sister helped to overcome
that challenge as the attachment continued
7.5 Limited work daily activities, some days most especially at the start of the
attachment there was nothing to be done at the office and this would make me idle and
redundant, it also limited my exposure and learning new skills and experiences. However
as time passed I started to be delegated with work to do from my supervisor and from
other department and this reduced on redundancy and kept me business through out the
attachment
7.6 Wrong data recording, some of the records would be having exaggerated figures
which required ones critical efforts to really notice them and correct them, this consumed
a lot of time and effort for example in the bank statements that were issued out by the
Stanbic bank in Kabumbi branch there was an error that was made which needed to be
37
corrected for the bank statement to reconcile with the revenue collection cash book of the
company.
7.7 Change of the environment .challenge of meeting new people whom you are not
used to, it was intimidating especially in the first days because I was seeing new faces all
over the office and this made it difficult to know everyone in their own perspective at
organization. However as time passed on I got used to the faces which made me to freely
interact with all the people at the organization hence overcoming the challenge.
7.8 Long distance; the distance from home to the work place was long and I had no
choice but to bear with the distance since that is where I was appointed for internship.
However this made me reach work place when am already exhausted yet I had to involve
myself in serious work which involved calculations.
However as time passed, I was used to the journey and things were becoming better at the
place of work.
7.9 Tiring movements; for example the distance between where we had to photocopy
from the documents, buying airtime, food was long as compared to where the offices
were situated .this was tire some and hectic however I had to bare it
However as time passed on, I was used of the movements and this made to
overcome that challenge it became a walk over t
7.10 Getting place to carry out internship, I had applied to many places like bank of
Uganda, bank of Africa among others and would receive a negative feedback like we are
already full, we do not offer internship among other and this demoralized and frustrated
me to a point of letting go of internship yet it was a compulsory activity to be done by the
students in a specified time by the university.
38
I feared a shamming my University and lecturers in case I failed to understand and
accomplish what I was assigned to.
However within few days, through different sequence of tasks I managed to concentrate
and gain confidence throughout the training serving with devotion and confidence.
Secondly, beside academic trips, The University in its academic program does not have
enough schedules for students to be exposed outside their campuses.
With the knowledge from fundamental of computer taught from Bugema University,
especially in Microsoft office word and excel the intern used it in entering and keeping
data in to the company’s computer.
In addition, the knowledge from internet I used it in down loading and uploading files,
forms for example other documents.
39
7.10.7: Supportive supervisor
My supervisor gave me guidance and was very concerned about my learning and

are evident in the field in particular organization. This equips students (me) with the

8.2Lessons Learned from the Internship Program:
While filling, the intern learnt how to file documents in their respective dates, month, and
year and in their right positions. In learning so I appreciate that filling documents helps
for future reference and the intern extracted this when he used recent information while
making graphical progressive reports that revealed the trend of performance of MI&CC.
This was displayed on graphs and other statistical methods.
The intern learnt that teams achieve greater things as compared to working as an
individual. It also made the intern to recall that two heads are better than one head
whereby team members’ advice one another.
41
8.8 Experiences
The experiences gained were due to the routine activities, tasks and assignments given to
the intern in the new environment while at MI&CC. These include:
Since this was done on a daily basis, the intern gained experience in filling. He can now
chronologically file documents in their respective folders, positions as well as arranging
them in dates, months and year they were received. This was by the aid of different
statistical computer packages.
8.10 Teamwork
During the field attachment at MI&CC, the intern gained an experience in working with
teams.
8.10.1: Interaction with different cultures
In the due course of the training, the intern associated with a number of people both
within and outside other people irrespective of the gender, tribe, sex, age and among
others. The organization so due to my routine exposure, i gained an experience in
interacting with other internee also gained an experience of relating himself with others.
While interacting with other people, i put respect into consideration in whatever i did
while with others and drew me closer to people hence free interaction and widening of
my knowledge of cross cultural management and other basic aspects of life.
This was due to the fact that I was assigned to compile daily and weekly reports about the
activities I accomplished as well as giving the weakness, strength of the organization that
affected me from executing my assigned duties, its strength as well as sighting
recommendations to the organization on how future activities should be done. By so
doing, the intern gained experience in report writing.
From the field attachment exercise, the intern attained and improved a number of skills
and some of these include;
42
8.10.4: Listening skills
I acquired listening skills due to the fact that the meetings and training we usually held
with my field supervisor, I was required to know something from it at the end and this
required me to listen attentively in his instructions so as to be able to capture detailed
information I would consider while doing my daily activities as well as writing report.
During my field attachment training at MI&CC was able to associate with different
people of different tribes and cultures both within and outside the organization so during
my time with them, I acquired skills of relating myself with other people irrespective of
their tribes, age, gender and among others just to mention but a few.
Due to the association with different categories of people internally and externally at
MI&CC, I acquired communication skills both verbal and nonverbal. So I got the ability
to effectively and efficiently communicate in a good communication manner. I also used
gesture especially to clients who were unable to understand what I meant.
Indeed, at MI&CC, this was one of the routine activities that I was assigned to do which
yielded into the acquisition of filing skills. These skills can be my manifested by my
filling speed, chronological filing of documents according to dates, months and year they
were received.
While at MI&CC, I was assigned a number of tasks like filing, registering, recording and
data entry among others which require me to make a daily decision about what to do first
depending on urgency. All the above enabled me to acquire relevant decision making
skills in the long run while training.
43
8.10.10: Computer skills; much as the organization did not have computers , the
supervisor provided me with her computer and this enabled to acquire computer skills
for example how to prepare final accounts using computer, how to type the report using
micro soft word 2010. Using Accounting Soft Ware for better accounting practices.
9.1 Typing skills; during the internship I was able to acquire the typing skills since I had
to type each and everything that I had done every day in my report .this enabled to
increase my speed in typing so as to finish in the shortest time possible.
I have learned so many valuable knowledge which helped me a lot to understand the HR
activities and as well as to prepare this report. Through this internship affiliation report I
got a chance to have a very closely observe about all the HR activities of MARVELOUS
INVESTMENT AND COMPANY LTD Followings are my understanding from this
internship program:
I have learned about the organizational behavior, i.e. how individuals and groups act in
the organization, what are the people-organization relationships in terms of the whole
person, whole group, whole company etc.
I have learned about the compensation management practice. Here I have learned about
different rewards that have been provided to the employee in exchange for their work.
The most important lessons from this part is that before making compensation policy for
the employees, the policy maker must be keep in mind about the Management
Philosophy.
Internship built motivation and work habits where I learnt to do things on my own which
is different with the school where sometimes the class schedule doesn’t require me to
wake up early.
I have learned mostly about the leave management system. Here I have learned about the
category of leave, leave entitlement, how to process a leave application, how to calculate
earned leave etc.
I have gathered experience about recruiting and selection process from short listing to
appoint an employee in the company. And also I got strong work ethics because I was
given the chance which gave me the strength to learn and perform my work like any other
team member.
44
Finally, through writing different type of letters and notices my writing skill has been
developed.

9.3 Recommendations
Recommendations to marvelous investment and company ltd.
Marvelous investment and company ltd provides a conducive learning environment for
interns MI&CC should grant more student interns an opportunity to build on their skills
as well as bring new ideas to the organization.
9.5 Facilitation
MI&CC should offer some facilitation to the interns to permit them meet personal costs
like lunch and transport. These should be paid throughout the duration of field attachment
and this will make them feel part of the organization.
This will reduce MI&CC should also avail enough equipment to its work force so they
can acquire relevant knowledge to match the growing trends in technology for example
computers, photocopiers. To enable interns also acquire knowledge for a better
employment base to employers in future, the HRM department should lobby for more
computers from the top management so that all the recruited interns can be able to access
one at a time.
MI&CC should conduct intern volunteer feedback whereby they share the interns’
concerns and opinions and be able to communicate to them about the company’s stand
and strategies in order to keep their morale high during and after field attachment.
There should be a more elaborate induction and orientation by the organization to the
interns. The intern being new in the company requires detailed highlights about the
company in terms of its vision, mission, objectives, code of conduct, and expectations
during the time of field attachment.
46
- There can use professional internees to carry out some services without going into
permanent contract.
- They can prepare retirement plan and plan for employees’ incentives
- Both employee and Directors of Units and Executive committee, should have a copy of
their job description, and a signed job description should be filed in the employee’s
personnel file.
- They can create opportunities for people to connect (employee interactions), because
employee relations are a key element of work place happiness and employee engagement.
- They can provide appropriate non financial benefits to the employees in order to be
more satisfied and involved in labor.
9.9 MI&CC
The MI&CC should recruit more employees if they are to enhance greater efficiency. In
line with my course I notice that there was a lot of work to be concentrated on yet there
was shortage of man power staff so the few ends up being overworked.
MI&CC spends considerable productive time on recruitment, promotions and other staff
matters. To save productive resources, Human Resources should consider installing the
automated and web-based technology for recruitment to replace the manual processing
for recruitment and hiring and free staff time and space for more productive HR
activities.
The MI&CC should adjust its program of retaining interns in case they need to employ
some one in the fields such that they fulfill the government’s mandate of job creation and
also save funds they would have put in training new personnel’s.
The intern recommends the organization to extend on their Internet connections to other
offices and computers that do not have Internet access.
The company should take steps to stop the too much exercise the reference power; it will
affect the other employee’s confidents and willingness to the work.
47
The company should also install solar power system in order to help in case of
emergency such as unstable electricity supply.
9.10 To the university
The university should help find the areas of training for those students who fail to
be placed anywhere.
The intern recommends the university to allow students to register for industrial
attachment even though he/she has not meet the 100% required internship fees.
The university should also reduce on the amount of the internship fees. Especially
for those that are carry out their training within the city of Uganda.
The University has to introduce a new system where Students can Graduation in
June
