Independence Day

On 17 August we celebrate our nation Independence Day. On 18 August we held the Flag Ceremony
and after that, each house sang several National Hymn such as Satu Nusa, 17 Agustus, Merdeka and
Indonesia Raya. There is also Student Council coronation from the president of 2015 -2016 to the new
president of 2016-2017.

The annually Pesta Rakyat then started with many games. One of them are the usual Tug of War,
Sack Race, Balloon Game and the Relay that contains many mini games. There are also Fashion and
Food Show which represents many provinces in Indonesia.

Clear Minds, Vote Wisely


Student Council Election for 2016-2017 was held in August 12, 2016. It was held discretely and
transparently in basket court. Not only student, teachers, too, already make up their mind to vote
wisely.

There are total of 3 candidates for the President and their Vice President respectively. Candidate
number 1, Kirana Miletta and Arvin Theodorus with their slogan, “From Unity comes Our Legacy”.
With number 2 candidate Clarins Shieryl and Michael J.J. with slogan “Receptive, Responsible,
Respect” . And the candidate number 3 Joses Wiratama and Audrey Widjaja.

The end result Kirana and Arvin won the election as the new Student Council President and Vice
President of 2016-2017.

Houses Games
In July 5 and 6 , Houses Games was held in Bintang Mulia. Its different from years before as it came
with new games and new spirits from all the students that already waited for this annual event. Each
houses compete as a team, no matter which grade you are, they fight as one with sportsmanship.

It was held in 2 days. In the first day, there are soccer, sponge game, basketball, dodgeball and relay game which
are all about teamwork. During the second day, there is the popular sport Tug of War with a bit of twist, where
all houses pull at one time, from 4 directions against each other. There are unique game such as Chicken Fight,
Protect the Candle. The most waited one is the House Run at the second day where there are many missions to
complete.

The games then ended with Columba as the winner, which also made them the best house of the year.

Design your Uniform


One of the unique annual event in Bintang Mulia is Design Your Uniform. Where students can design a shirt that
can be worn on Friday in the second week of the month. The student whose design is chosen will get provits
from the selling of the shirts. So far, there is already 3 design; I Shout BM, Unite, and One Team One Dream.q

Futstar 2015
On 24 October 2016, schools from Bandung came to Bintang Mulia to gain the title of winner in
Futstar, a futsal competition that held by student council annually.

The competition came with bigger, better blaze than years before. Different theme, the same vision
that is looking for the best teamwork, strategies, but also the spirit and passion from each team bring
to the court and fight that bring win to the team.

Our school encourages students in their hobbies they passionate about aside from academics. Our students have
contributed in many competitions over the years. Here are the lists of our students that make our school proud
