2.10 DISTRIBUTION BOARDS (DB):

2.10.1 General lighting and power distribution boards shall be 600 volts grade metal-clad
pattern pre-treatment galvanized sheet steel rigid welded construction and shall be
supplied complete with panel door, phase barriers, masking plates, earth
terminal bar, miniature circuit-breakers or cartridge fuses and circuits charts. All
distribution boards shall be manufactured under license.
2.10.2 Distribution boards intended to be installed in plant areas shall be of weatherproof
industrial type construction, and those intended to be installed in office and
residential areas shall be appearance suitable for installation these type of

suitable plastic pocket secured on the inside of the door panel.

2.10.5 Distribution boards shall be fitted with an integral incoming on-load switch. All

___________, dated _________ are covered under a warranty of 18 months from the
date of invoice or 12 months from the date of commissioning, whichever is earlier, against
manufacturing defects under normal operating conditions.

TERMS OF WARRANTY:-

 This warranty applies to any/all defects arising out of faulty design/manufacturing/workmanship

/materials and shall be fit for the purposes for which they are purchased by written order and as per the
agreed specifications.
 The products shall be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines and only for the
specified purpose.
 The products shall be used within the specified limits/ratings.
 This warranty does not apply to any wearing parts or to any non-conformance / defect directly or
indirectly caused by :
 Operation of the products beyond its rated/specified limits or capabilities.
 Abuse, misuse or negligent operation of the products.
 Non-observance of the manufacturer’s guidelines.
 Alteration/modification of original design.
 Use of spare parts other than genuine spares from authorized agency.
 Service, if any, should be referred only to the supplier or any agency authorized by the supplier.
 This warranty becomes null & void if the product is tampered with, adjusted or repaired by any
unauthorized party.
