Today we are faced with many problems with our environment and

global warming is one of the biggest threats. What causes global

warming? What solutions are there to these problems?

The severity of environmental issues has become a perpetual concern
for the public in the contemporary world. There is a common belief that
global warming is considered the most challenging danger to human lives.
In this essay, the causes of this issue will be analyzed with relevant
solutions.
To begin with, the primary origin of climate change is the industry’s
heavy dependence on carbon-intensive fuels. The fourth industrial
revolution has been accompanied by the emergence of thousands of
factories, which emit a significant amount of gas exhaust into the
atmosphere. These emissions are known to increase the earth’s temperature
by trapping heat from the sun, which directly results in the global
phenomenon of greenhouse effect. Moreover, a colossal volume of
vehicles produce a lot of toxic fumes and this results in the air quality
being degraded. It is imperative that the government take effective
measures to combat this issue by encouraging the use of renewable energy
such as solar power or hydroelectricity instead. Travelling by public
transport system should be promoted to reduce vehicle use.
Additionally, due to urbanization and population boom, many forests
have been logged down to make room for place and agriculture cultivation.
This has brought about a huge loss of trees and threatened the ecological
systems and animal habitat. The overuse of toxic chemicals and fertilizers
in farming has led to the severity of soil erosion and spoiled the
groundwater resources. Therefore, campaigns for environmental protection
should be held to raise awareness of humans. Some environmental policies
should also be implemented by the government such as preventing massive
deforestation, encouraging citizens to live in apartment buildings and
limiting the amount of chemicals used on soil.
To conclude, global warming is a serious issue that this problem should
be the government’s paramount consideration. And we need to join hands
to deal with it immediately to save the earth and environment for the future
generations.
