Use of Passive/Simple Past

(simple past tense) (Form of verb be “simple form”) + (third form of the verb)
Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known; however, who or what is
performing the action.
Positive: Active: He bought a car.
Passive: A car was bought by him.
Active: He didn’t buy a car.
Negative: Passive: The car wasn’t bought by him.
Active: Did he buy a car?
Interrogative: Passive: Was the car bought by him

Take the following into account:

1-Identify the subject and the object (plural or singular)

2- Check the tense (The auxiliary verb to be has to be conjugated according to the tense)
