In the everyday course of life, the moment we open our eyes we can
see objects around us. These objects aren’t objects that is just crafted
easily. Some were applied with math. Patterns are visible among the
objects that we see everywhere. Plants have distinct patterns, be it on the
leaves, the branches or the petals. Scholars have found a way on how to
identify the sequence or series of patterns contained on certain plants and
objects. These patterns mostly consist of symmetries, spirals, fractals,
waves and etc. The most common pattern we see on plants especially
flowers is the Fibonacci sequence, in which the petals are arranged or
organized in that manner. Moreover, the structures we see and sceneries
we perceive might have the golden ratio which can be see on many things
across the universe. Even mathematicians and scientist are in awe to
discover such thing, thus we cannot simply deny the fact that math is with
us wherever we go.
2. No matter how we say we don’t need math in our daily life,
undeniably we can’t ignore the fact that once we are educated, we realized
that those spiels are wrong. The clock that we used to check time involves
math, the phone that we use to communicate involves math also.
Moreover math is applied when cooking and even in our entertainment
such as when playing games. Mathematics allows us to have organize life
such as when managing money and arranging our everyday schedule to
prevent a chaotic day. Math allows us to have better understanding,
reasoning skill, critical thinking and even better communicating skill which
is necessary for our growth.
3. Mathematics is often represented through symbols, letters, diagrams
and mostly numbers. With these symbols, letters, diagrams and numbers
combined the outcomes are the formulas we use in measurements and
logical reasoning. These helped scientists, mathematicians, inventors and
researchers to support all their claims regarding their works and make
those factual and legit. Who knows, mathematics can be the reason for us
to discover all the unknowns and mysteries of the world. Also,
mathematics allows engineers and architects to build better and sturdy
structure in case of natural disasters that might come. Mathematics also
can be applied in arts such as painting, music and even dancing as these
factors needed harmony and organization to produce better and satisfying
results.
4. Most of us gets flabbergasted when encountering sets of numbers, it
makes our head gets hay wired and we refuse to understand it as we might
have developed a hate for mathematics. As a normal person I may say that I
have a love and hate relationship with mathematics, I can’t hide from it
because my course is related to math. Moreover, speaking truthfully, I
needed it every day when setting my alarm clock, cooking and playing my
video games. I needed numbers to coordinate with my game play and
strategies to win the game. As time goes by and as I develop a better
understanding with the world around me I came to accept the fact that
math is applied anywhere and everywhere. Also be thankful because of
these formulas, inventions and discoveries a lot have been easier and life
has been comfortable.
