2a.3 MACHINE ADJUSTMENT
2a.3.1 V-BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT

Tension of V-belt should be proper in order to keep regulated torque,

reduction of resistance, long life and protection from friction heat, but in
case tension is too powerful or tension is too weak, adjust tension a
follows

1) Loosen the fixing bolt.

2) Adjust the V-belt by the adjusting bolt.
3) After adjusting, tighten the fixing bolt.

balanced.

2) Use the specified tool to tighten the tool holder or tool clamping bolt.

3) In case loosening tool holder or cutting tool bolts, be sure to loosen

them gradually.
Keep your footing stable when loosening bolts.

4) Never tighten the bolts excessively.

5) Make sure that chips is removed completely when tightening the bolts.

6) Remove any scratch from the surface on which the holder or tool is
mounted with an oilstone.

7) Remove the coolant discharge port plug from the turret.

Do not remove the plug from other station.
