Demand Analysis

Demand analysis is used to study the desire of consumers for a particular product or service, and how
much they are willing to pay. The results can be used to determine product design, selling costs, and
advertising strategy.

The demand was based on the target market of the business which are the students, employees,
businessmen/businesswomen and self-employed individuals who from Brgy. Bulanao, Tabuk City,
Kalinga who are approximant into our location.

These are the result of the demographic variables of our target customers:

Analysis of the Result

The following questions were asked from the residents of Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga and with the
corresponding analysis of the results.

1. On average, how much money do you usually spend on just 1 meal when eating outside?
Pie Chart 1 shows the result for the question “How much money do you usually spend on just
one meal when eating outside”. Based from the result of the question, most of the respondents
are spending within the range of Php 110 – 150, yielding 55%.

2. Which of the following do you believe is the most important factor in choosing a restaurant to
dine in?
Pie Chart 2 shows the result for the question “ Factors that affect the respondents in choosing
a restaurant to dine in”. The primary factor is the foods affordability which yielded to 41.5%,
second is the varieties of food with 34.3%, followed by location’s accessibility with 17.3% then
the ambiance with 7%.

3. Are you familiar with silog dishes?
Pie Chart 3 gives the result regarding the familiarity of the respondents with the silog dishes.
Out of the 400 respondents, 391 (97.8%) are familiar with the silog dishes while the remaining 9
(2.2%) are not familiar with silog dishes.

4. Have you ever experienced dining in a silog food house?
Pie Chart 4 shows the result for the question “ Have you ever experienced dining in a silog food
house”. Based from the result of the question, 78.8% experienced dining in while 21.3% doesn’t
yet experienced dining in a silog food house.

5. In what food establishment/s have you experienced eating Silog meal?
Poll Chart 1 shows what food establishments does the respondents experienced
eating a silog meal. Almost half of the respondents which yielded to 45% did not yet
experienced eating a silog meal in a food establishment while the rest of the
respondents had experienced eating a silog meal in a food establishment.

6. In what meal do you conceive silog will most be eaten?


Pie Chart 5 gives the result for the question “ What meal do you conceive silog will most be
eaten”. 68.5% of the respondents are conceive eating a silog dish any of the 3 meals of the day,
while 25% are conceive eating a silog meal during breakfast followed by eating a silog meal
during lunch which yields to 4% then 2.5% are conceive eating a silog meal during dinner.

7. Choose at least 5 Silog meals of your best choices.
Poll Chart 2 shows the result for the top 5 best choices of respondents favorite silog
meal. The primary favorite silog meal is the Lechsilog which yielded to 71.3% followed
by the secondary favorite which is Bangsilog yielding to 67.8% thenthe Chicksilog with
63.3% followed by Tapsilog with 61.8% then lastly the Liemsilog with 46.8%.

8. Would you like to have a silog food service here in Tabuk City?
Pie chart 6 shows the result for the question “Would you like to have a silog food
service in Tabuk City”. Majority of the respondents wants to have a silog food service
in Tabuk City which yielded to 99.8%.

9. Are you going to visit Mixilog Avenue if it will be actualized in the near future?
Pie Chart 7 shows the result if the respondents will going to visit Mixilog Avenue if it will be
actualized in the near future. Based from the result of this question, 100%(400) will going to visit
Mixilog Avenue if it will be actualized in the near future.
