PAF/Lt. Col. Navales Jr. was motivated to become an entrepreneur after being reassigned to Cebu and missing the local delicacy "Satti". This inspired him to start a business selling Satti as a way to satisfy his cravings. He believes his optimism about the future and knowledge gained from reading entrepreneurship books helped make him a successful entrepreneur. While focused on his Satti business, he has some interest in other ventures but has not pursued them. He acknowledges there is nothing wrong with being employed to start capital for a business idea and help shape successful entrepreneurs. His message to young Filipinos is to not fear risks, think of unique business ideas, and have a mentor through entrepreneurship

experience and expertise. The mistakes he made in his first business were his lesson, guiding him to start
over and have fewer failures.

helps to shape every successful entrepreneur.

Do not be afraid to take risks, and when starting a business, always think of a unique idea to
help it grow. Always have a mentor who can assist and guide you on your journey. Read some books
about entrepreneurship to broaden your knowledge.
